Greetings! My is username » Asterous «, but feel free to call me Aster! I like to draw and creative write in my free time. I am also a huge bookworm and enjoy Mystery, Fantasy, and Fiction books. Some of my favorite books are The Outsiders, Yellow Fever, Black Beauty, The Divergent Trilogy, and the Scorpio Races. My favorite shows are Doctor Who, My Little Pony, Sherlock, Star Trek: The original series, Young Justice, and anything else superhero related. When i do write creatively, my stories just come to me randomly. I'll literally be laying in bed at 3:00am, and just be like " Oh wow, i have a great idea for a story!"
This is my ooohhhh.. fourth-ish... time trying for a kennel in this lovely adoption center! I am very excited and willing to try my hardest to add this beautiful bunch to my ever-growing faimly!

Why Do I Want This Set?

The better question is, why not? During my time here at the POL, I've scrolled past them many a times. I wanted to try out for them but it felt like I didn't have the skill to write for a entire family! But know that I have some experience under my belt, I feel like I can really do that now. Going back to the characters, they all seem like they have different personalities and interests, but still manage to get along. They have beautiful designs and I think that they are just waiting for a chance for a new home. I hope that I can do them justice and win them.

If i do win the family, i want to delve deeper into each of their stories. I can write about the kids growing up or how the parents first met. To first days of school and family matters. It will help me evolve my connection with each individual character and bring the lives of them to life. They will always get showered with art either from me or others that i commisoned. But as i don't have any good pets or $CS, it'll probably just be me They will also be added to my W.I.P character thread, which is a disaster at the moment.. so I'm not going to link it until i get to cleaning it up.

Personality:

Jamie is always one for adventure and is never deterred by the unknown. She tends to embrace it willingly rather than run away from it, as some other people would. She doesn't care if it gets her into trouble sometimes. Going into something head first without learning the risks is something Jamie takes pride in. Her husband sometimes tries to talk her out of it, but Jamie doesn't listen. All she cares about is the rush of doing something blindly. Another aspect of Jamie's personality is how =, when faced with a situation, Jamie looks into any and every possibility before making a choice. She'll talk with her family and maybe her friends to get different opinions before doing anything major, but if it's a small conflict, she'll work it over herself. Jamie is also one to rise above challenges and other competitors. It doesn't matter if it's a job promotion or just a family situation, she keeps here cool and meets it head on

From the time she was a young pup, jamie has always been independent. She believes that she is capable of doing tasks herself and doesn't need help from others. She has also taught herself many things ( art, music, sewing, songwriting ) without a large amount of help from others. Sure, she may have gotten a few quick tips here and there, but they were just tips. She did all the work and teaching by herself.Jamie is also known for how bold she is. Taking risks is already in jamies personality and she embraces it proudly. Always making bold designs that not everybody may agree with, but if she agrees with it, jamie will always defend it with the last of her energy.


Being a mother, nothing means more to her than her faimly. She cares about them and would give her life instantly for any of them if something were happening. Cooperation seems to be inherited when one has a faimly to care for, this is evident in jamie. She used to be that one person that always wanted her way, but now, she can't have that. She has learned to compromise and cooperate better with people, those people being.her own faimly or just everyday strangers she might encounter. As stated earlier, jamie loves her children with everything she has. What mother doesn't? She loves them to no end, and will never ever hesitate to help a child in need. If there is a pup crying, her instict is to comfort it. If say, Faith or Kade or Jason is in trouble, her instinct is to protect and care.

Aspen is a rather courageous man. He will take on challenges others may stand in fear of, and while it may scare him down to the bone, he will go through and finish said challenge or task. Sometimes, courage is about standing up for what you belive in and defending it till you are victorious. Aspen does this quite a lot. When he wasgrowing up, people would come up to him and offer things that went against what his personal value and he had the courage to refuse them and stick to his values. He continues to do this even today. Aspen is also very accepting of other people. Some may argue that that makes him too trusting of people, but he has enough common sense not to be naive. He accepts people for how they act, not because of other factors such as race, religion, sexual orientation, their past, or social status. This man could have a conversation with an ex criminal like he would have with a friend he had known for years. Aspen is also known for his perseverance in tough times. He knows thst he can't just give up. He knows that he needs to push and persevere through the bad days, and knows it'll all be worth it in the end.

One of Aspens best traits is his honesty. He has kept himself lie free from the day he turned 5 on to adulthood as a promise to his sick mother before he passed on. He has never told a lie since that day. Knowledge is one of mans greatest assets, and is one of aspens favorite things. He loves researching and sharing knowledge with others who might appreciate it as much as he does. Sometimes he'll just choose a random subject and start just learning and learning until he can recite facts about that subject back to you for an hour straight. Aspen knows that everyone has values , and that they might have different values than him. He knows to respect them and their values, even if he might not agree with them completely. On the subject of values, Loyalty is one very dear to aspen personally. He says that you must remain loyal and supporting to whom it may concern, even if it means taking the fall with them.

Aspen is very superstitious and believes everything happens for reason. That being said, he is always excited when he happens to get lucky one day. Doesn't matter how small the victory, he'll celebrate nether the less. As all people do, aspen gets very frustrated, very fast. And when i say fast, i mean fast. If he loses the cap off the toothpaste, or something small and insignificant, he'll look for it high and low for about 25 minutes and then he'll start shouting. It's rather amusing. If you look up over acheiver in the dictionary, you will see this guys picture. He always does more work than necessary. ( maybe that's why he's so frustrated all the time) Even his boss will tell him he doesn't have to do it, and he still does it! Finally, one thing aspen can't seem to calm down about is time. He's always rushing about and complaining about how slow he is going. Again, quite amusing

History: Amber has has a rough life so far. She was taken away from her mom and siblings at only six weeks. Her new owners couldn't handle her so they gave her to the shelter. She was then adopted by a man who wanted to use her for dog fighting. He trained her to dog fight, but he gave up when he realized how sweet she was. So he gave her back to the shelter. Shewas adopted by a very kind person, but they couldn't keep jer any more so they brought her to pound of love.
