Background/History [of pet]: She has a normal childhood and moved out after school to live with Aaron. Her parents do not know about him because she knew they would not approve of his carefree, hyper personality.

Other: My character Aaron is human so she must also be a human to be his "mate". Could I change her to human? She is 18-20 years old (not exactly decided). Final thing... if I win, the characte will belong to me. Nothing will be changed about the design and I will not say that I designed the character myself, but it will still belong to me. (hope this edit is a bit more clear) Her story will be more thought out, organized and detailed if I win. Darry will help me since she is a master at character-making. ^^

Use: While I am not entirely sure what all I will do with Darien if I get him, I do know that I am going to try and get art of him, find him a mate, and make sure he is loved by others as much as he is already loved by me. (Currently trying out for this lovely and planning on possibly making them mates if I get both of them. If I do not get her the Felicity of his history will be a different wolf.) I got her! So if Darien is given to me, he will already have a likely mate to love him, the poor dear. ^-^

-Quiet-
Ever since Darien was nearly beaten to death for making noise and then had a cloth tied tightly around his muzzle, he has avoided talking. Even though the rag is now loose enough for him to eat and speak, and has long been in such a state, he still inds himself unwilling to speak a lot and only makes noise when he feels he must.
-Gentle-
Darien has never been one to fight. He has always been a hesitant and gentle soul. He hates to cause pain and is in fact very slow and steady to make his choices. If he can, Darien will find the peaceful way out of any situation he gets into.
-Shy-
Never one to talk first or go out in front of others willingly, Darien is quite a shy person. He is very hesitant to take on any role of leadership and dislikes being forced to take charge.
-Affectionate-
Despite his great lack of love and affection throughout his life, Darien has grown to be a very loving and cuddly wolf. In fact it could be that his cuddly and loving nature, despite his shyness and aloofness, is caused by his need to not feel alone and to feel needed and loved.
-Wary-
Darien is very slow to trust those he does not know. This is solely and entirely because he has all his life been treated badly, even by those few scientists who would at first have him believe they liked and maybe even cared for him.
-Aloof-
Because of his wariness and his shyness, Darien is a very aloof person. He stays away from others generally and can easily be thought of as rude if someone is trying to get to know him or ask him for anything.
History:
Once upon a time, Darien had a family. He had a loving mother, a protective father, and two cute little litter mates whom cuddled with him on cold nights. These first few weeks of Darien's life were the most normal and peaceful of all of his life he has ever known. In truth he does not remember this time too well except in fond memories of memories as he was much too young to truly remember these times clearly. This is because, at a very young age, Darien was kidnapped from his den along with his siblings by human poachers who ended up killing his mother while trying to catch them. His father was away hunting and came home to find his wife slaughtered and his children missing, but that is another story.

The poachers took Darien and his siblings to a testing facility that was owned by the GEWBH, Genetic Experimentation on Wolves for the Betterment of Humankind, organization. There Darien and his siblings were locked up in cages where they grew up. They were only taken out to be exercised once a day and when they were being tested on. Darien's sister was the first in a chain of wolves to be genetically enhanced into having wings. These wings burst forth from inside of her slowly, causing her much pain and bleeding. The bones in her back broke off into more bones for her wings and the feathers that grew made her itch badly to the point where the observers chained her paws down so that she could not scratch at the delicately forming wings. Still though, here wings came out crooked and misshapen. Soon enough the blood loss and sickness that the wings caused her killed Darien's sister. She was in the cage to the left of him and he was always reaching into her cage, hoping to comfort her. His brother was doing the same on the other side of the cage. They each managed to grab one of her feathers before her body was taken away. Something to remember her by.

When his sister died, Darien let out many howls of mourning throughout the next week. After a while the scientists got sick of the noise and beat him until he shut up. In fact, he was much too weak to even whine when in the days to follow, his brother died a similar death from an experiment to try to give wolves working gills. This time though the death was quick and mostly painless. Besides the pain his brother had experienced when his skin slit itself to try and make the gills, he didn't feel much pain at all. This is because he was drown by the testers. He was placed in a medium sized aquarium that the scientists closed off and left him in until he died of lack of oxygen. They left him in there because they had a theory that if they let him almost die, his brain would have to accept and use the gills as it had previously refused to do. It did not succeed. The next wolf to be placed in the cage his brother had lived in was an older female wolf who was kind enough to give the feather his brother had saved to Darien. He now had two feathers, one for each of his dead siblings.

With Darien's brother gone, Darien was all alone and knew he would be the next to die. Yet Darien did not die. The scientists experimented on him in other ways. First they genetically enhanced him to give him extra long fur on his heels. This experiment made him itch and even nearly made him lose one of his paws, but was overall a success. The next thing they tested on him was much worse. Working with his natural fur colors, the scientists worked to genetically implant new markings onto him. They successfully gave him decidedly unnatural markings that, due to the way they were made, had a faint glow to them for a long time. The glow faded eventually, but the same thing that made his fur glow made Darien very sick for a long time. He became very skinny and malnourished. In this time he had many mad dreams and time passed strangely.

Before Darien knew the time had passed, he was full grown, the nice old wolf that had been in his brother's cage had died and many of the cages were empty. Finding that he was mostly alone in exception for dying wolves, Darien let out noises of mourning once again. He didn't care if the scientists beat him to death then. He felt so alone that he wished to die instead of live on in the thing his life had become. However the scientists were so low on test subjects now that they would not kill him willingly. They instead tied his mouth shut with a cloth.

Around this time was when the poachers that got wolves for the organization were becoming desperate. They were stalking nature preserves and even choosing some wolves to mass breed to get puppies. Some of the pups were placed near Darien's cage, but as with his own siblings, many of these pups died. One pup was even placed in the cage his brother had been in. Yet the one right next to him, the one his sister had died in, was never ever filled.

Or at least it wasn't until Felicity came along. Felicity was a very brave and caring wolf. She was always calming the pup in the cage next to her's and trying to get Darien to open up, but by this time Darien had closed himself off. He refused to speak most of the time and almost everything she learned of him she heard from the other wolves. Still though she never gave up on trying to be kind to him. While she was there, one last experiment was being run on him. The scientists had been looking for a cure to baldness through genetics and had thus tested a new thing on him, trying to get him to grow human like hair from his head. It was yet another success for the scientists though the color wasn't exactly what they'd been hoping for. They had planned to try and change its color, even though just that and the changing of his fur had proven that messing with the genes made him violently ill. They never got the chance.

One fateful night, an enraged PETA group that had found out about the facility attacked the place, raiding it of its chemicals and setting free as many of the wolves as they could. They just barely freed Darien and Felicity before they were stopped. For some reason, Darien stuck close to Felicity throughout the escape and the time after as they recovered with the other wolves and the PETA group. As the PETA group planned their next attack, Felicity was planning their's. Together, along with the next PETA attack, Darien and Felicity will go back to try and free the pup that is still trapped in the cage that once held his brother and as many other wolves as they can.

OK, this is getting outta control, there are way too many donations, and they aren't needed anymore. there are over 100 pets available, and people keep donating pets made with flash games that had almost no effort put into them. You need to close donations, until a lot of these pets get adopted. you are getting pets in every day, and soon there won't be any space. there are so many, that there are a lot that are never going to get adopted, because of the overflow.

I'm sorry if I came on as rude, but I'm serious. They need to stop.

Background/History [of pet]:

A quiet night, a mother and her pups. Colorations, variations. All different sizes, weights ranging from eight to four pounds. The pup named Mulani was the largest but, by far the lightest at two pounds, seven ounces. She was only tallest by three centimetres of fur that patched the top of her head. Her markings were those of her mothers, but the colours were not. Their father had been taken on a count of the fact that humans invaded just a week before the pups were born into the family of two.

Mulani had but one littermate, Kanjii he was brown, with grey stripes on his back. Mulani was favourite of her mother, perhaps for the best. Her father has been missing for a while now, she seemed worried. Oh, how stupid of me. I’m Soul, a demon wolf, I live across from Mulani. Well, a week later Mulani was alone in her den, I asked her why she was alone. She said, and I quote ; “Me and my family went down to the river, the white foam under the waterfall was coming in great amounts, some floated down the river. I watched my mother up in the silver glinting water, to catch us some dinner. That’s when she found the crocodiles were in the river. The largest one taking a hold on her back leg, he dragged her under. My brother jumped in, I grabbed him and took him back ashore. The silver became a strange orange at first, then red, we stared at the water.

Some of mothers fur floated to the surface. The crocodiles came up, but not mother. We knew she was gone…” Mulani began to cry, being male I just sat there and looked at her. Lets not forget I had a bit of a crush on the girl myself. She was beautiful. But I’m a demon, well half demon anyways but, that one fact alone gives me strength against emotion. I nudged her cheek and said “Its all going to be okay, just stay calm. Just calm down…” she nodded, sniffling. We both walked off, with her brother. Deep into the black forest......
