You Bring the bottle down as hard as you can on on top of the scroll, but the glass does not shatter. However, as the bottle sits atop the scroll both begin to glow brightly. Perhaps you should open your scroll too...

After opening the scroll and having the bottle on top of it the contents of the bottle and the writing on the scroll begin to glow into a blinding light, and when it fades, a pixer appears inside the bottle. Taking it out might kill it and the scroll it stuck on the bottle. Best keep things the way they are and hope another bottle shows up for someone else later...
