I woke up and rubbed my eyes with my scaly paws. I jumped out of my bed when I remembered-it's Christmas! Oh Christmas is my favorite day of the year because it's aso my birthday. I'm so excited to turn 326(9 human years)! I ran down the stairs to my parents, Inx and Ari, making angel food cake and humming together."I'm heeeere!!!" I was surprised they didn't notice me and my mother, Inx turned around and spread her paws wide for me to jump into them. I happily lept into her arms and bursted with many smiles, my heart beating a mile a minute. I ran out of her arms into my fathers, then sitting by the Christmas tree. I yawned and suddenly remember the Christmas tree was next to me. I leapt off the moss and by the tree, looking for my gifts to find there was one big one for me. I opened it to find it was a full suitcase and a full backpack. I zipped open the backpack to find all of my favorite foods. I closed it and looked in the suitcase, confused at my findings. There were a bunch of books and some toys, even a computer. I looked deeper in it and also found some large map in it. My forehead scrunched up and I opened it, still wondering why I had the backpack and suitcase. The top of the map read,'You have been chosen in the special foreign exchange drawing. You will switch with Lila of the Royal Palace. These are directions to get to your destination in Hong Kong. Your flight leaves tomorrow.' I looked at my mother and wide eyed, fainted.

I woke up in bed with my mom sitting next to me. I looked ather and groaned. "This is a lot, mommy." I closed my eyes, excited but tired. I also felt overwhelmed."I know sweetie... We didn't expect it to happen especially today. You better get ready and say bye to your friends. Oh, and you'll only be in Hong Kong for a month... Eh provide food and everything.""A MONTH?!? Mom I'm only 326!!"my mother looked at me and hugged me.


I got up and ready for my flight ghetto Hong Kong. My parents were on the moss beds quietly talking to each other. I was excited and scared and happy and tired and all the more emotions you can think of. My mother beckoned for me to come with her so I followed. We flew for a long time, with me looking back every so often. The red smoke from my mother and green smoke from me trailed behind us in a line exactly where we had been. I got a sudden playful boost and launched myself forward with expertise, only using air. I looked around my mother and flew upside down! Yelling, "Whoopeeee!!!", I circled around my mother one last time and landed on the top of a nearby tree. I poked my head into the leaves treat some. I always liked leaves. My mother kept in the air, holding my backpack and case. She was also looking at the map.

DJ woke up, rubbing her eyes. “Honey, breakfast!” She heard her mother call. DJ rubbed her eyes. “Okay, coming!” She replied, pulling herself up and out of bed. She flew downstairs. Her mother was roasting toast with her fire. “Good morning! Did you forget that it's your birthday?” Her mother asked. DJ looked shocked. “I totally forgot! What are we doing today?” She asked excitedly, eating her toast in one big bite. “Were going to the water park!” Her mother said, smiling. “Whoa, cool! Can we go now?” DJ asked, jumping up from the table. “Yes, let's go!” DJ's mom said. She opened the door but gasped as what she saw. DJ came running up to her. “Mom, wha-” She stopped ubruptly, awestruck. “Snow!” She exclaimed, running out and into the snow. She built snowmans and threw snowballs. She had so much fun. “This is the best birthday ever!”




DJ's personality is spunky and outgoing. She loves to be around people, but loves snow more. She can make nearly anyone smile or laugh. She will literally go to anything to make someone/thing smile. DJ has some bad traits, too. She can be downright annoying. She can also be bossy, but not that often. DJ is a good friend.

Trouble doesn't remember any other family but her step family, who are red foxes. She was told that she was found when she was a young baby, lost and hungry. Because she liked to cause trouble, she was given her name, but when Trouble grew older she stopped annoying people as much. Of coarse she still does every now and then for old times sake, but she often apologizes afterward.
