Reason for applying: I love working with birds, in fact thats what I do in real life. Aggressive males can be a problem for captive populations, I believe his more peacefully ways of dealing with females makes him the perfect candidate for a captive animal. His wonderful colors make him a very interesting looking bird, with bright pink its almost like lava is flowing from his feathers.
Other: If I where to get him I would soon be looking for some females for him

Reason for applying: I love birds of all sorts. I also think that you have quality artwork that is worth it. His colors are beautiful and he looks one-of-a-kind. I want so badly to own a bird but adly I am unable to. My mom thinks that birds are too loud and take a lot of time and effort to care for and would only be a nuisance. I hope I get the finch and if I don't I'd like to try again when you create another one because I love them!

Reason for applying: I really like the colors, the lineart, and the concept. I volunteer at the local shelter, I work mainly with cats but the cat people also have to do the small animals, which means birds, rats, all that junk. I really like working with the birds. Unfortunately I can't keep one for various reasons. These 'finches' are really cool, and extremely creative. I MUST have one.

Maybe in the future, right now I don't think I want to open up customs because I want Crested Driftwood Finches to look more natural for their species, I don't think it would be good for the gene pool to have finches with butterflies and stars on them(for when I open up breeding, which will kind of involve genes in a simplified manner)

I find it kind of funny how you work with birds and rats, because I have doves and mice. Just a interesting coincidence. Judging will be difficult, I didn't expect so many good forms!
