((Heheh. I'm not sure how to do this, so I'll try...
I was waiting for one of these to pop up. Finally, it has. I'll try and get some sprites up, and I may try out to be an artist.))

SILVERWOLF~* wants a Mareep.
Silver walked into the lab and peered over the fence of the pen. Inside were several pokemon, but a soft-looking Sheep pokemon caught her eye. It was a Mareep. She called the lab assistant over and pointed to the fluffy electric-type. "Can I have the Mareep?" she asked. "And can I name it Amphee?"

Kita walked slowly through the pens, a slight frown on her face. All of the Pokemon were cute, that was for sure, and she was sure they were all tough strong fighters, but not a single one seemed to tug at her heart or even catch her eye. She even passed another adventurer who had apparently found one to their liking, as they were talking to a researcher. Finally she came to the last pen, sighing a bit in mild frustration. She doubted this pen would hold any better luck. After all, how could he ever be replaced? No, not replaced, never replaced, but she had hoped to at least find a new Pokemon to share a bond with. Shaking her head to snap out of the reverie, she looked down into the last pen. A Houndoom, a Cubone...that was all? Neither seemed very interesting, in fact the Houndoom was just sleeping. Then a glint of flame caught her eye and she looked farther back, into the shadows at the back of the pen. There it was again, another small puff of flame. It had to be. She watched closer, and this time the flame lit up the face of the Pokemon, revealing it to be a Charmander! She smiled softly and looked up at the sky. Was this a sign to move on? She turned, looking around for the nearest researcher. Catching the eye of one who moved towards her, she pointed with determination to the back. "Please, may I adopt that Charmander to be my companion on my travels?"

Event!
A wild Trapich has appeared! Who will be the first to challenge it?

Kita smiled gently as the researcher placed the Charmander in her arms. "Hello little one," she murmured as the Charmander's eyes blinked slowly opened and he yawned. "I think I will name you Siyamak. Is that alright with you?" The Charmander looked at her and then nuzzled into her neck. Kita looked upwards once again. "Okay, I get it," she whispered almost inaudibly before being startled by a commotion and turning around to see a Trapinch approaching the outdoor facility. She sets Siyamak down gently. "Well little one, are you ready to try a battle?" Siyamak looks at the Trapinch then back at Kita and nods. Kita laughs. "Okay, well let's try it then, but be careful, and don't take too many risks!" Siyamak approaches the Trapinch together with Kita. "Okay, let's try Scratch Siyamak!"

Silver hugged the soft, sparking Mareep. Amphee jumped as the Trapinch approached. Silver sighed, as Amphee had tried to crawl up and over Silver. "I'd have loved to challenge it," Silver said to Amphee, "But you're an electric type. You wouldn't have been good to challenge a Trapinch with."

Meanwhile...

A lab assistant approached Silver and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Come away. Sometimes wild pokemon are attracted to the lab pokemon. However, if you want a real challenge I suggest going outside and walking around in the forest a little. There is a pond there that might have some water pokemon if you look closely."

Kita smiled. So her little one was a bit feisty? Suited her just well. "Okay Siyamak, don't back down now! Be careful, but try to get another scratch in!" Siyamak watched his opponent carefully, waiting for an opening.
