Tyron thrashed his grey tailed and prodded the ground heavily with his light grey paws. His black mane stuck to his head and neck because of the rain and he faced him opponent. Taking a step foreward he considered his actions. Was it worth it? Should he take on such a battle at such an age? A pure black Corses stepped onto the flattened out mud. She shook the rain from her mane to show her bright green eyes.
"You ready for this fight?" she asked with slight concern in her voice.
Tyron nodded but looked at the ground. The mud was all slippery and his paws sank deep into the slushy mud. Both of the Corses bowed their heads then turned away from each other and walked slowly to the edge of each side of the mud ring. They turned on the heels of their paws to face each other, Tyron nearly slipping onto his stomach but he kept his balance. Slowly, they walked towards the centre of the circle and Corses all around them bowed their heads. Faster than lightning the battle had begun. There was a flash of black and sprinting paws then darkness.
