The night is breezy, the fire on the torches beside the Altar flickering dimly under the night sky. For once, the Altar carries not a festive mood but a dull, quiet... bordering on the lines of an eerie aura. The curtains scrapped across the wooden boards, sliding apart to admit a pretty Faerre onto the stage. Everyone twitched in their seats eagerly to take a look at the new Faerre, only to be confused when they saw her sad, mourning expression. The Faerre lifted her lowered head to look at the crowd, her aching heart pounding slowly within her chest, broken... bleeding... raw. "Jinaro.." The announcer by the side breathed delicately as if he's afraid that any loud sounds would shatter the already heartbroken Faerre. Every Faerre knew what is causing her grief, and every Faerre knew
Jinara is a delicate, fragile being in her current state, everyone's afraid to near her in case they shatter the breaking lady.
"I wish to leave." Jinaro whispered, her once bright orange eyes now dull and lifeless searched the crowd. "To leave this heartbreaking place and piece up my broken soul.. he won't come back.. this grief he's left me with..." small droplets of liquified sorrow rolled down the young lady's face. "I wish to escape."
Jinaro will be judged in 2 days, April 9th, 2012 HK TimePenalties:*To make things clear, Jinaro had just lost someone close and is in a delicate emotional state, anything that antagonizes the Faerre will increase the chances of her staying in Vinara*
Jinaro Has Chosen

Pity, pity, pity... it's all she sees. Every glance, every soft toned whisper, every touch breaks her more. What she needs, is not more sympathy from outsiders that rubs even more salt into her wounds... Can anyone ever understand?
Then one, with the scent of snow and foreign lands, sat in front of her, her hands folded as she relate to Jinaro. Sympathy again. Jinaro was about to shut out her voice when something she said touched her broken heart. They are always here... beside you. Jinaro cocked her head, looking at Esmeralda through puffy, swollen eyes. Here.
Slowly, the Faerre closed her eyes, closing the outside world and listened to her heart, her soul. The slow rhythmic thumps draws her into another world as memories of 'him' floods back. Happy ones, funny ones, angry ones, sad ones... She could almost feel his presence, his warm smile, his comforting scent. I'll be here. the voice of her loved one whispers, Always. Her heart floods with joy and enlightenment, then slowly drains out, leaving Jinaro after the sudden burst of emotions, peace.
The Faerre opened her eyes, blinked at Esmeralda then sighed. "Thank you."
Jinaro has chosen you, |Music|Is|My|Life|

The beagles sounded, ringing clearly through the air as everyone took their seats, eyes glued towards center stage as they waited for that one special visitor. The curtains shifted ever so slightly and out bounced a orange hued Faerre, his orange pupils shining brightly. His fur was puffed up with excitement and he's constantly shifting from one foot to another as if he's about to explode from the thrill of standing on stage. The Faerre at the side opened his mouth but was cut off when the bright Faerre spoke first.
"Hi all! It's such a nice view up here! I'm-" The Faerre paused, his expression turning thoughtful as a mischievous glint entered his eyes. The Queen smiled expectantly, knowing this little trickster, she knows what's coming next.
"Why don't you try to figure it out?" The Faerre giggled.
"My name consists of two words!
The first is something you can't live without,
Without it, roosters won't crow,
flowers won't bloom,
there won't be rain,
and the sand won't feel hot.
The second,
can be received and given,
and it has different meanings with different people,
it's the proof during the bonding of two,
and it's something you can always give.
Can you? Can you? Guess my name?"
??? Will be judged in 3 days 17th April, 2012 HK Time*Note* you do not HAVE to guess his name correctly, and guessing it wrong will not eliminate you from the contest.
No cheating C: and have fuuuun~
Oh! And his name is '1stword''2ndword' no space! so it could be 'Peanutjam' kay? :'3 two separate words but his name when written becomes one.
Sunkiss Made His Choice

As expected, none of the suitors really guessed his name correctly. But the riddle had so many different variations to it... The bright Faerre shrugged. It's really none of his business, it's all about having fun and making others smile. Slipping off the Altar gracefully like a feline, the happy-go-lucky Faerre bounced through the crowd towards a dark dusty corner of the Altar. Standing in front of the huddled figure the Faerre paused for a while as his orange eyes follows the slow sway of that mysterious circular object. Then unable to hold in his curiousity, Sunkiss snatched the pocketwatch away by it's chains, the metallic object flinging around his neck like a snake wrapping around it's prey. Surprised, the Faerre fell into the huddled figure into a tangled heap of fur and chains before looking at the curious child with big wide eyes.
"You're wrong. It's Sunkiss." The Faerre stuck out it's tongue cheekily. "“What does man love more than life,
Fear more than death or mortal strife?
What the poor have, the rich require,
And what contented men desire,
What the miser spends and the spendthrift saves
And all men carry to their graves?” Sunkiss sang softly, remembering the riddle Mystery provided him with just a few moments ago as he recited it clearly.
"Man loves nothing more than life~
Fears nothing more than death or mortal strife~
Poor owns nothing and the rich requires nothing,
Contented men desires nothing,
A miser spends nothing and the spendthrift saves nothing,
and all carries nothing to their endless sleep underground~"
The faerre grinned slyly.
"Easy peasy." Sunkiss has chosen you, soulBridge.

The bugles sounded the start of another meeting, and creatures of all sizes swarmed over towards the Altar to test their chances at the new arrival. Excitement pounded in their veins as they waited eagerly for the curtains to part... but it didn't. They waited longer and longer yet. The curtains didn't move, didn't sway, didn't even rustle. The audience below began to shift with confusion, glancing from side to side and glaring at the Faerres that'd sounded the bugles for nothing.
Where is the Faerre?Faerres sitting at the side seem to slump down in their chairs at ease almost as if they'd
expected this to happen. Then almost suddenly, a small creature exploded from behind the curtains falling head over paws onto the stage with a painful 'oomph'. Almost instantly, the audience began to sigh with relief and excited chattering began once more, whilst the Faerres at the side gave each other an amused look. Everyone watched as the blue Faerre struggled awkwardly to stand, his red eyes blinking back tears from the pain.
"Don't judge me!" was the first thing he said as he sniffed.
"I'm sorry I'm late, but I can't help it!" Faerres from the side seem to roll their eyes at that comment but kept silent anyways. If
Naire had seen their reaction, he gave no reaction what so ever. "Hmph! Think what you must, but I'm late
for a reason." The blue Faerre snorted. "I'm Naire, and I'm a VERY
organized Faerre." he stressed, his pelt fluffing up slightly as he tipped his nose away from the Faerres at the side. "Life is hell here, I'll say." He sniffed. "Everyone judges me, just because I'm late for
sooome events. They don't even understand! Someone as important as me needs time to prepare! I'm going to leave to PROVE to you-" He snorted at the Faerres within the Altar.
"I'm right!"
Naire will be judged in 3 days, April 24th, HK Time
*note* Naire didn't specify any terms, he's a troublesome little one, so be careful how you approach him~
Naire Has Chosen
Well at least there are some who understands his situation, and Naire is grateful for that. But there's always a chance that they could be lying to him, just to win his trust and companionship. That's the troublesome thing when it comes to woo-ers, there'll be lies. But... Naire glanced at the tiny Faerre eyes staring at him with critical, judging eyes.
Some lies are better than others. The little Faerre stumbled off the stage awkwardly, following the big creature with weird trinkets all over her, she's a weird one but Naire knows better than to judge her from appearance. Quietly he followed Kathy until he couldn't stand the stares from the audience following him, the male leaped onto the larger creature and buried himself in her fluffiness, trying to hide from the stares of the outside world.
"Can I really go visit this place you talk of?" he whispered gently, peeking out from behind as he clung to her like a lost kitten.Naire has chosen you, *~SlyFox~*

The night was clear and cool, the very stars seemed to dance in the heavens full of anticipation. One could feel the very tangible excitement withing the crowd as they almost patiently awaited the arrival of the next faerre. As the moon crested at its highest point, a deep rhythmic drumbeat began, and was soon joined by the high melodic tunes of a reed pipe. A hush came over the crowd as slowly an impossibly small Faerre took the stage. She move with the elegance and grace of a well practiced dancer, as slowly she twirled and moved her body in ways no human had ever seen a Faerre move before. Not a single eye left her as she danced her way across the stage, till finally as the melody began to fade, she ended her ballet with a low sweeping bow. There was no joyous round of applause, no hoopla of excitement and jostling to get to her, so the young Faerre took her chance and made her speech.
"Greetings all!"
The small faerre's voice was clear, but cracked with excitement.
"It is a joy to meet you, I am
Pippa. My family comes from a much poorer side of Vinara, than Avalon. We are simple folk, Players, Singers, Artists, and well Dancers. Throughout the generations, my family has helped cultivate and grow the arts with in Vinara. I have learned all I can from here, and I would be happy with that, but I wish to learn more, I wish to become one of the best Dancers of all Faerre kind, I want to dance for the rich and for royalty!"
A light blush tinged the small Faerre's cheeks after her immature outburst.
"I-I know I am young, But I believe I am ready for this."
Pippa scuffed one white paw through the dirt on the stage.
"Please, some one just give me a chance."
*note* Pippa is young, she can be easily compared to a Twelve year old human.

The stars shines brightly tonight, the Altar is once filled to the brim with different wooers from all over the universe to wait for the next Faerre. There had been a brief pause in leaving Faerres these few days but finally one more decides to test it's courage and find a partner. The bugles sang lightly tonight, the curtains parting smoothly as it reveals the small fox-like creature on stage.
"Hello,
Det." The Queen breathed slowly, her blue eyes twinkling as she welcomed the brave Faerre. This time instead of sitting within the audience she'd decided to join this Faerre on the Altar for special reasons.
The blue Faerre smiled at the royal sweeping into a low bow as thanked in his own special way. The Queen grinned, then turned to the audience, her tail resting on Det's shoulders.
"Everyone please welcome Det. He's one born with the night sky imprinted on him, with creativity and an imaginative mind like no other," The Queen smiled happily as she glanced at the male who grinned back at her.
So brave young one~ "And one who speaks without sound." Det hopped forwards, flashing his brilliant night pelt at the audience, turning one full circle before retreating back into The Queen's shadow.
The Queen cocked one eyebrow with surprise as she chuckled, "Det challenges you to impress him~" She chuckled, rubbing the little Faerre's ears. "Let the interviews begin."
Det will be judged in 3 days, 3rd May, HK Time *If it's not clear, Det is born mute :'> treat him nicely~ <3
*
Det Has Chosen
Through the meetings, Det had sat quietly and had listened attentively. The Queen... disappeared silently half way through the meetings, smiling to herself for she knew, Det won't have a problem in choosing a partner. It was true.
There were many of the talented, and surprisingly, a lot of telepathic communicators too. Det was particular intrigued by one with raven hair. Though she claims to have a voice, but because of one oath she dare not speak, he was slightly disappointed in this wasted chance. Perhaps once in his life he did think of talking, but not now. He had learned to embrace the silence and the language of actions. Walking down the steps of the Altar, he followed the small footprints pressed into the grass as he neared étoile, the one who can speak but refuses to. It was stubborn, and he liked it. Det smiled at the lady, he spun around and dropped into a crouch, almost as if he's saying. I'm here to play~
Det has chosen you, Dawnbreeze10210

Natures Dawn bites her lip slightly as she walks to the crowd, announcing that she will be leaving
Vinara in hopes to seek adventure, but also to learn new techniques and methods to effective

her, I know that I am a well known healer here.. but I have exceeded my studies here, though I
still wish to learn more about healing. I hope to learn new methods and new things so that if I do

are trying to study. I hope you all don't mind my absence.." she flushed a bit, hoping that she
doesn't disappoint anyone in her leaving, "I'm sure that the young Faerres will learn lots as I
discover new things and keep our generation thriving and healthy." she smiles, flicking her tail,
her excited to learn new things she hasn't imagined, she bowed slightly, then a separate one to
the Queen, then she slowly walks off the stage, smiling at everyone, "I'll try my best to make you proud!"

The stage that had been abandoned for a month, collecting dust as visitors come by often only to leave with a disappointed expression on their faces. The once popular tourist spot is now eerily empty without a single soul in sight except that little timid Faerre. The soft colored Faerre with the face of an angel seem to shake on the spot despite facing an empty hall that soon will be filled. No bugles sounded today,
Tenme hoped it would be a quiet departure, she was never fond of communicating with large groups and drawing attention to herself. Two grey eyes glanced beyond the altar to the lands afar, she hopes she'll find someone who'll understand her quiet nature. Perhaps bring her to somewhere where she can escape from critical eyes. The small faerre shivered slightly as she caught a glimpse of a shadow of a visitor by the door. Taking a deep breath she faced her challenge.
Tenme will be judged in 5 days, June 10th, HK Time*Tenme is a very timid Faerre, any actions that'll scare her off will result in the increase in chances of her running away without choosing a partner, tread carefully*
Tenme Has Chosen

The fur along her spine rippled as Tenme suppressed her fear. Despite her unannounced departure there seem to be a lot of curious trespassers anyways. Many creatures of all sizes came to greet her and most of them tower over her by several times. There were moments where she had to unsheathe those tiny claws just to grip onto the wooden flooring so she won't flee in terror. She had never felt so... exposed in life. Perhaps it's because of her shy nature and habits where she constantly avoids socialization with others, that makes it hard for her to understand other's true intentions. Creature after creature approached her, and she shied a little more every time, just when she was sure she could not stand the attention no more, the soft chanting from mid-air caught her attention.
Slowly as the Faerre raised her head she watched the butterfly swoop and dive in the air, drawing beautiful intricate invisible patterns in the air that strangely calms the skittish Faerre. As the butterfly finished it's last loop and even before it started it's introduction, Tenme had already taken a liking to the smaller creature. Without waiting for the butterfly's speech to end, the small Faerre nudged the butterfly onto her nose and quickly but silently darted away from the view of others, letting the butterfly lead the way to the world it talks about.Tenme has chosen you, Raindrop

The Altar bustled with life once more, seems word of Tenme's silent departure brought desperate wooers running towards the Altar. For days, visitors camped outside the Altar, waiting and searching for another Faerre that
might try to sneak away unnoticed once more. Finally, one bright, clear morning, the crowd got what they wanted.
The bugles rang loud and clear over Vinara and people shoved and crammed themselves into seats as they eagerly waited for the newest departing Faerre. Without wasting time the departing Faerre stepped out from behind the curtains gracing the Altar with her colorful presence.
Nairebis curtsied and stepped up facing the ginormous crowd. "Hello I'm
Nairebis, it's a mouthful I know." She chuckled lightly, surprising the crowd as she leaped off the stage and approached the first row of audiences. She let them touch her smooth fur and purred when one scratched behind her ear, "I'm searching for a companion that can show me that they can take care of me." she said as she turned around walking back to the Altar. "I like being pampered after all." She laughed softly.
Nairebis will be judged in 5 days, June 19th, HK Time
Nairebis Has Chosen
Nairebis felt her fur raise and tingle when one peculiar wolf stood before her, kneeling down in one graceful bow. "Yes that's true." the Faerre replied with her head held high, she refuses to be flattered by his strange approach that seem to have knocked down half the female population in the crowd.. yet... she can't really say she didn't fall for it either.
With a chuckle she accepted the small bell, ringing it lightly to listen to the beautiful music it produces. "So as long as I have this I can have anything I want?" she grinned mischievously as the brightly colored Faerre stepped forwards towards Jay. "Well then." Nairebis smiled, as she rang the little bell. "My first order is to let me ride on your back!"Nairebis has chosen you, Blazeheart

L-Ran shifted around nervously as she peered past the curtains that separates the Faerres from visitors outside Vinara. The young Faerre twisted around and touched her lucky charm for encouragement before stepping out into the spotlight for all to see. Immediately excited conversations started as the audience below regarded the little brown creature.
L-Ran stepped up boldly, flaunting her beautiful brown pelt for all to see and those closest to the stage could even catch the scent of chocolate and baked goods.
"Hello! I'm L-Ran the Faerre, I'm a passionate chef that loves baking more than anything else in life. I feel it's time for me to step out of Vinara's boundaries and improve my skills by incorporating different cultures cooking styles. I'd like to take in an apprentice. We'll meet once more on the Altar in one week, bring your 'audition entry' then. Until then." The Faerre dipped her head and left the stage.
L-Ran will be judged in 7 days, July 6th, HK time
*Conditions to be met:
Provide an 'audition entry' within your post, in this case, any kind of baked good (picture) and try to impress L-Ran that you're the only one qualified to learn under her!
You don't actually have to bake anything. But if you do, put a side note saying so, you get a little boost for baking in RL xD
L-Ran Made Her Choice

It was 'Assessment day' but not for young Faerres, but for the eager visitors gathered below. L-Ran watched as the pile of baked goods beside her grew with each and every minute. Each creature brave enough to venture forth brought a bit of their own specially made pastry, filled with love and spiced with the different customs and cultures of the outside world. With each 'entry' she's presented with the brown Faerre took a small bite to evaluate the product. Some she swallowed, others she spat out. Finally the last baked good is tasted and mentally evaluated, the Faerre stepped forward with a small un-ladylike burp. It is time. L-Ran thought with a cheeky grin on her face, not one bit embarrassed by her burp.
"This event gave me the opportunity to taste the different 'lives' outside of Vinara and I'm really grateful for this chance. Now, I shall announce the lucky soul who'll be my apprentice..." L-Ran paused dramatically as she glanced at the crowd before her. Slowly she stepped down from the stage and followed the little webbed imprints on the ground. "You." The brown Faerre smiled as she reached the small duckling with an orange bill. "I'd like to 'taste' more of your culture." L-Ran smiled as she gave the duckling a friendly nuzzle.L-Ran has chosen you, Soulbridge.
