.•Introduction•.
Welcome to the UWA, or the Under Water Aquariums! We are here to bring you many different, colourful and unique kinds of fish, for your very own aquarium! Adopt from the litters posted, decorate your own aquarium, interact with your fish in different ways and share your favourite fish with others! Now, before we start, I'd like to bring up a few, very useful rules that are to be followed throughout this adoption center:

‹< Respect this adoption center, the users who adopt from the UWA and the staff who work here.
‹< All of CS' and staff' rules apply to the UWA.
‹< You are not to claim, alter, or add to the images on this thread in any way unless you have my permission to do so.
‹< No double posting, one worded posts, or any other forms of spam are accepted on this thread.
‹< Enjoy your time here at the Under Water Aquariums!

Warnings may be given if any of these rules are broken, so please try to follow them throughout your time at the UWA. Also, a small table of contents will be listed at the bottom of each post. Clicking a link will take you to that area, making it easier to navigate your way through this adoption center.

.•Staff Information•.
Anything anyone who is one of the staff of the UWA or would like to be part of the staff wants to know is posted here. Wondering if we're hiring, or looking for what you should do? Check here or ask me or another of the staff over PM. All of the rules above apply to the staff, although there are a few more that should be taken into consideration by any who work here. If you don't agree with them, please go apply somewhere else. The rules listed directly below this apply to all staff, not depending on their position.

‹< You may be above the adopting users, but don't ever abuse this. Act towards them as you would have wanted to be treated, even if they've done something wrong, for perhaps the user did not know they were.
‹< As of now, only I may carry out the actions of accepting forms. When I'm away, I will usually assign someone to do so, but other than them, I can not have any other one of the staff saying that forms had been accepted.
‹< If someone asks why something is the way it is, don't reply with "Because I/they said so...". This is rude and will not be tolerated. If you don't know, send the person to a more experienced user who may know the answer.
‹< Your forms are not always judged by experience, although I am more likely to choose someone who has done the select job before.
‹< Your applying forms must be PMed to me. Any which are posted will be ignored.
‹< Please do not complain if you hadn't been picked to do the job you applied for. Unfortunately, I don't accept users who I don't think are at the level I need, so please don't take offence if I say you are not ready; I'd like to keep this adoption center creative and well moderated. That doesn't mean you're not a good artist or mod, it just means that I'm looking for someone who can do something a little different from what you can.

.•Mods: Hiring!•.
The ones who look after the Under Water Aquariums as a whole and make sure no one is breaking the rules. In my opinion, these people are the most important, so I will be quite strict with who gets in. Any mod must follow the below rules.

‹< Never assume that a user did something wrong on purpose, they may not know what they did, so please let them know in some way.
‹< If you are not sure whether you should or shouldn't give a warning to someone, check with me or one of the more experienced mods.
‹< Even if the reason for a warning is not in the rules, if you think appropriate, you may give one to a specific user.
‹< If a user decides that they can talk back at you without a valid excuse, please ignore any insulting comments and automatically PM me that they need to be added to the warning list and why. After I do, PM them back that I had done so and ignore any future PMs from them.
‹< When giving a warning, the first thing you should do is to check to see if that person had been given one before. Continuing in a way as polite as possible, either PM them with the fact that they had been given a warning and why, or with the information that they had been banned temporarily or permanently and why.

.•Guest Artists: Hiring!•.
As of now, I'm not hiring any actual permanent artists. From those that are chosen to be guest artists, I may promote any one of them to being a full time artist if I think they're ready. Guest artists are sent the fish linearts, and, using these, they may create a litter or two. They then send the image of all the made fish back and I add them to an adoption aquarium and put them up for adoption.

‹< Every guest artist is allowed to make one litter, minimum. If I think you're good enough and you want to, you may create more litters, but only if I give permission.
‹< Once you finish your litter(s), please delete the fish linearts from your files. Don't claim the fish linearts image as your own.
‹< Always let me know when you start making a litter and when you may finish.
‹< Do not edit the lineart of the fish that are in your made litter unless I say otherwise.
‹< If you don't finish the litter(s) you said you would do in that week, I may remove your name from the staff list and make you aware that you can't use the linearts anymore.

.•How to Adopt•.
If you want one of the fish from an adoption litter, follow the steps listed below to post your form and to adopt your own. I will explain it through a step by step process for better understanding, although most people will already know how to adopt.

1‹< Find the fish you want to adopt and remember its number and the letter of the aquarium it was in. This is important, for this is how I would identify which fish you wanted.
2‹< Look to the side of the aquarium, where you will see several numbers and letters with either a username beside them in gray, or 'Available!' beside them in green. Check the number and the aquarium letter of your wanted fish; if they have a username beside them, the fish has already been claimed. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please read through the posted forms on the last pages to make sure your wanted fish hasn't been adopted! It may not show on the adoption post, but it may already have an owner!
3‹< If the fish you were going to adopt has yet to be taken, use the number and the aquarium letter in the 'Fish Number & Aquarium Letter' slot of the adoption form. The 'Name of Fish' and the 'Username' slot should explain themselves.
4‹< If you are new to this adoption center and this is your first time adopting a fish, please include this information in the 'Other' slot of the form! It's confusing for me if you don't. Also, if you came to the UWA from a request of a friend, or you found the link courtesy of a user, provide this in the 'Other' slot as well, for the person who 'referred' you gets 200 ! c;
5‹< Post your form on this thread and wait for your new fish and new/updated aquarium image codes to be sent to you by PM!

.•FAQ•.
Need help with something? Want to ask a question but are unsure that it hasn't been posted yet? Check here for anything that you want to know or want to ask about the UWA.

‹< How many fish may be in the same aquarium at a time?
Most often six, unless all of the fish are of the larger species. I may only be able to fit four or five if this is so.
‹< How many fish may I adopt?
You may only adopt one fish every twenty-four hours, and only one per each litter.
‹< How many fish may I own at a time?
There is no limit to how many fish you may own in total, although only a certain amount may fit into one aquarium.
‹< Do you make custom fish?
No. I am tired of answering this question. The UWA does not provide custom fish to any who want them as of yet, although there may be exceptions from raffles or special events.
‹< How do I get my first aquarium?
Your first aquarium will be given to you along with your first adopted fish or your first purchased aquarium accessory, although after this aquarium is filled with it's maximum in fish, you may purchase another for 200 .
‹< May I reserve a certain fish before the litter is out?
This would be highly unfair to other users, and it is unlikely this option will ever be available to adopting users.
‹< What if I don't want/don't care about my fish anymore? Is there a way I can give them back?
If this happens, you may fill out the form to give your fish back to the Pound, where it will be adopted out to the user who won the competition to get it. Beware, though, for the fish can not be taken back once you decide to give it up.
‹< My images are not working! What should I do?
Sometimes there is a mistake in the image codes or an error in the system which prevents your images from being seen. Simply PM me about this and I'll provide you with the new images.
‹< How do I get ?
You can trade me certain CS pets for a certain amount of . Check the Store post for more information.
‹< How do I know whether the fish I want to adopt has already been claimed or not?
This should be easy; look at the numbers and letters beside the aquarium you're adopting from. If you believe it to be open, also check to see if someone posted before you that they'd like to adopt it. I'm not always on, so sometimes you'll see that you were denied ownership of a fish when there was no name beside it; that just means that someone who wanted it as well posted before you, but I didn't see it before you posted your form. Also, at some points you will find that all the numbers have '. . .' beside them-- this simply means that there are no fish available to adopt in the first place.
‹< What happens if I want my new fish in a different aquarium?
Specify so in the 'Other' part of your form when you adopt a new fish, and I will move them into the aquarium you wanted. If your first aquarium is filled up with six fish already, I will automatically move the new fish into your second one.
‹< What happens if I want my old fish in a different aquarium?
I don't really have a system made up for this yet, although you may PM me about this and, depending on the placement of said fish, I may be able to move it.
‹< How do I purchase items from the Store?
If you want to purchase an item to keep in your bank, first you must make sure you have enough . Find the proper form and fill it out with all the information needed, and when you want to use the item, find the using form. If you want to use the item as soon as you buy it, fill out the proper form and post it.
‹< How do I participate in a Raffle, Activity or Special Event?
There will be a certain form that you can fill out to get into the event, although each will have more information on the select post.
‹< How can I tell if my fish is a male or female?
Actually, only the betta fish have a chosen gender. This means that if you have any other type of fish, you can choose what gender you want them to be, or you could have them not have a set gender. With a betta fish, if your fish has longer fins and a longer tail, it's a male, if it has short fins and a short tail, it's a female.
‹< What does it mean to 'refer' someone?
To 'refer' someone basically means to let them know that this adoption center is here. This could be in the form of PMing a friend, or if someone got here from a link provided in your signature. Once the referred user adopts their first fish or purchases their first item, 200 will be added to your bank.
‹< Would you like to be affiliates with my adoption center?
I'd rather if you were to PM me about this, but I would most likely agree. c;

.•Adoption Form•.
Although most of the information required for this is posted elsewhere, I will repeat the most important facts so that no one needs to go looking for them.

‹< You may only adopt one fish per litter per day. This means that one user may only own one fish from each litter, and may only adopt a fish every 24 hours or so. This rule combines the Hatchery, Pound and Adoption Center.
‹< If you see a username beside the number of the fish you want, it has already been claimed and can not be adopted again. Also, if it shows '. . .' beside the number, that means the fish is not available.
‹< Check the recent posts to see if anyone had applied to adopt the same fish you wanted before you post your form. Their form could've been skipped over or this post was not changed soon enough to include the fact that they got the fish.
‹< Remember that this is first come first serve, so the first person who posts their form for a certain fish receives that fish unless something prevents them from doing so, such as them having been banned or given a warning, or they had already adopted a fish from that litter or that day already.
‹< If you are new to the UWA, meaning, you have yet to adopt your first fish or purchase your first item, include this information in the 'other' slot of your form. Also, if you were 'refered' to this adoption center, say this along with who refered you in the 'other' slot as well. If you don't know what this means, check the FAQ in the post above.

.•Pound Drop-off: CLOSED•.
For whatever reason you may be doing so, you can give a fish back to the Under Water Aquariums here, where we'll make it available to be adopted by another user.

‹< Only one fish may be dropped off per day, and only if the Pound Drop-off is open.
‹< A small competition will be held with the fish you dropped off to be the prize to ensure it goes to a good owner.
‹< Store fish can not be dropped off here, because there are multiple of them and they can easily be purchased at the store for a certain amount of .
‹< Although there is a slot on the form labeled 'Why so?', you don't have to fill out this part if you don't want to. This is just so I can tell if people don't like a certain type of fish or whatnot.
‹< Once you post the form to drop-off a fish here, there is no way to get it back, so make sure you absolutely don't want it before doing so.
‹< Only three fish may be kept in the Pound at a time, so don't post your form if there are already three fish in the Pound.

.•Pound: CLOSED•.
The fish owned by users who did not follow the rules or wanted to drop them off are left in this aquarium. Each fish is cared for well, although there is only so much hospitality that may be given to each, and they may not all get along. Are you here to adopt one of these hopeful fishies?

‹< The first and last rule from the Adoption Center apply here, and also all of the ones said in the introductory post as well.
‹< A small competition is hosted for each fish, allowing three people to enter with the answer to a question or a regulation done. The forms are then judged and the person with the most creativity wins the fish.
‹< The list of participants trying to adopt a certain fish is shown in the order of who posted first, not who has the best chance of winning.
‹< Do not decorate your form in any way! The only thing that is judged is the answer to the question/regulation done, not the form itself!
‹< The winner of a certain fish is decided as soon as three people post their forms for the same fish.
‹< You may only try to win one fish at a time. After you have, you have to wait until all three competitions (or one or two, depending on how many were open) are reposted with new fish prizes, and then you may participate in trying to get a fish from the Pound again.

.•Breeding: CLOSED•.
Here you can breed two fish with either both belonging to you or with you owning one and another user with the breeding partner. Once again, I'd like you to recognize the rules for this part of the Under Water Aquariums.

‹< Both fish must be the same species! The few exceptions; Guppies can be bred among themselves, as can Butterfly Fish, and Sucker Fish, and Betta can be bred with the opposite gender, if of the same rarity.
‹< Special event fish, store fish, raffle fish and auction fish can not be bred. Their rarity would mean nothing otherwise. Any other regular litter fish with or without line edits may be bred.
‹< There are only three slots open for breeding pairs, so you can not post when all three are taken. Otherwise, you must wait until a litter is adopted out. I will ignore your post if all three slots are already filled, so you may have to post your form again once they empty.
‹< Remember that you, the host of the breeding, gets to pick a fish before it is posted up for the public. I will PM you with the completed litter and you can, using the Hatchery adopting form, PM me back with which one you had chosen to keep. If there are no fish left after you choose, it will not be available to be adopted from, for others.
‹< A bred pair of fish may have a litter of 2-4 fish. I try and keep the litters amount fair, so please do not whine if you wanted four fish to choose from.
‹< You may not participate in more than one breeding at a time, although a fish who had already bred before can breed again, just not with the same fish. Also, fish either from the same litter, or fish from the same family can not breed.
‹< In a breeding hosted by two users, only one of you must own a Love Enhancer. The one who has it in their possession is the one who posts the form.
‹< If you are breeding your fish with another belonging to someone else, please decide who gets first pick of the litter before you post the form, and discuss this over PMs. Also, make sure that your partner posts that you have their permission either somewhere before or after you posted the form.

‹< All of the rules from the Adoption Center apply here, with several more that are listed below.
‹< You may not adopt the parents of the litter, because they already belong to someone. If they don't have numbers beside them, they are not up for adoption.
‹< These fish are all based on a mixture of the parents design. Sometimes they may have the same design as one of the parents of a different colour, or an entirely new design utilizing a combination of both.
‹< I send the litter, as soon as it is completed, to the owner(s) of the parents first, so you may see that one or two had already been claimed when I post it up.
‹< All most other question should be answered in the FAQ.
