Welcome to Yin & Yang Adoption Centre! Here we take in any unwanted characters and put them up for adoption again to go to a good home. If you have unwanted characters or fursonas you can leave them here to be put up for adoption, with your preferences of course, they will be in good hands here. Until they find a good home they will remain here in loving arms.
I'm Dovepawlover the new thread owner. I've been on Chicken Smoothie for quite a while and I've seen what happens when a character is forgotten and left to rot. If you recognize that "Hey, I'm not using that character!" Or you just don't like it anymore, bring it here, surrender it over and we will find a good home for your old friend and we will make sure that they go to a loving family.

Why hello there! I see you've met our centre mascot, Balance. This sweet gal is the mascot for our little adoption centre. I chose her to be our mascot because she is completely fitting, she was part of the Yin Yang dogs here on CS. She is gray, as you can see, and I think that means something, because gray is a mixture of white and black, Yin and Yang, balancing, mixing together to form gray. Which also explains her name, and why it's Balance, the Yin Yang symbol is meant to show balance the eternity of spinning in complete balance.

19/12/2011 - First draft of centre created.
25/12/2011 - YYAC is first posted to public, with hopes to be finished within a few days.
4/1/2012 - YYAC is open to the public, characters are up for adoption, and we have a few affiliates. Let's hope this will grow!
5/1/2012 - It's getting popular, we've got applications and we are no longer accepting Judges, though we need mini-mods!
15/2/2014 - YYAC went inactive and closed down.
2/4/2014 - V.2 of YYAC is made, with Dovepawlover as the new owner!

For Adopting
• Fill out the form completely and honestly.
• I look for Quality, not Quantity, show that you really care, you really want the character.
• Put some work into your forms! Make them colourful, add pictures, quotes, colours, etc...
• You must follow the previous owner's preferences and respect the character.
• All forms must be finished 3 Days before the Code Drop! To give time for judges to do their thing and judge all the forms.
• You may only adopt 2 characters per round, since this is currently a small centre it will have a small limit, but as it grows I'll probably change this. c:

For Donating
• Fill out the form completely and honestly
• I understand and respect your preferences but don't put a million DON'Ts
• Donate at your own risk. By donating your character to YYAC you thereby on do not own the character, if you change your mind you can only take back the character if there are no forms going for it. If someone wins it talk to the new owner, if they don't then you may have it back.
• Please, if you donate a Character that is in a picture with other characters in it, crop them out or find a picture with only the one you are donating. People might get confused and think they are adopting them all.

For Revamping
• Follow the owner's preferences, if they don't want the design changed, don't change it, you get what I mean.
• Be respectful to the character make it look good and appealing, so I won't accept sloppy colouring or bad lines.
• Have fun with the character and get creative!

- Can change name, but must stay exotic. For example, nothing like "Ren" or "Bob." Something like "Rempir" or "Denmark." Just something unusual.

- No design changes, and I'd rather you didn't revamp him. The only acceptation to the design rule is that you may add one or two very simple items to him. Like, a thin bead necklace with a feather on the end or a ear piecing or something small like that.
- If you no longer want him, return him to ME. Not another adoption agency, do not sell him, do not trade him. Furthermore, don't just get him to sell him for pets or so you can trade him. That's just sad, and it makes me sad, which will lead to me not trusting you with anymore of my donations. ene But, I guess this is the risk of donating, no?

I made this character a while back, thought it may be a nice fursona or character, but changed my mind. EVentually, I forgot about it, until I was skimming through my gallery. I saw it and immeadiately felt guilty about never using the little cat. I tried to use it often, tried to give it a name, but none came. I gave up, then found this place, seeing you needed more donations. Perfect.
