Welcome to The Hopeful Adoption Agency (THAA), a unique character adoption agency where we accept all shape and size who are looking for a great home. Below, you can see the creatures who wish for love and a home. All of them deserve homes. Will you take one of our amazing characters home with you today? It your choice! Just fill out a form and you are well on your way to adopt that character.

General Rules:

-Make sure the picture is clear,
-Donations should look like something you would adopt.

-There will now be a three strikes rule, if by the end of the month you have three strikes, you will lose your chance to adopt!
Things that can give strikes:
Complaining/whining or insults
Stealing
Cheating
Trying for a character who has not been added to the kennels

Donation Rules:

-No drama and be honest.

-Please note that all the staff have lives and we try our best . Please don't keep on nagging us.

-Don't under any circumstance donate a character that you do not own. This is considered art theft! and you will be banned!

-Don't use lineart that is not for free use or without showing the link back to the original (Deviantart) that shows it is for free. We do not accept headshots.

-No donations based off of CS pets.

-Don't do harsh rules like “no name changed, no marking changing, no mates, no pups, no role-play, no add-ons, no outside CS use unless, no gender changing you get my approval and you have to keep the original story line, and you have to...” its just bad!

-We do allow backgrounds.

Adoption Rules:

-You must fill out a form to adopt. Or your request will be ignored. DON'T Pm me your form. Post it here!

-This adoption agency uses the best form 'wins' style.

-All characters adopted from the THAA are not to be donated to other adoption centres. If you no longer have a need for or just can't take care of your adoption, you must return it here. Thank you

-If a donation has not been added to the kennels, you may NOT post a form for it until it is. Users who break this rule will gain a strikes.

-You must write all parts of the form yourself. No forms with any part of them written by anyone else, regardless of whether you paid them or not! Its just fair.

-You may only try for two characters at a time (2 per code drop). As soon as the code drop is complete you, then you may post a new form.

-Don't complain about not receiving a character from the code drop, don't spam the person who had gotten them. These will automatic ban you.

-Any character that has been donated a day or two before the code drop will be saved for next weeks drop, for example if a character was donated on Thursday and the drop is Friday, that character will be given out the next week, giving you lots of time to add or do a form

-Do not complain if you missed the code drop. We usually tell when we're starting.

-The form given to you is only a guide, you can add extras and 'pretty' up your forms.

-The History is one of the most important parts of the form. Please be creative.

Tips:
- Be creative.
Don't use a plot-line that everyone recognizes (prince must kill uncle for killing father, etc.). Alternatively, add variety in your sentence structure. Long, complex sentences paint vibrant, beautiful pictures that flow through the reader's mind according to your command. Short ones are punchy. Strong. Angry. Sometimes.... murderous.

- Leave out useless information.
So what if he's got ten sisters and twenty brothers that he never met and doesn't know about? If it has no impact on his personality or history, leave it out. Don't waste your time on things like that. However, details make stories come alive. I want to hear the slow creaking of the old, weathered wheel-mill as it slowly turns with the help of the slow, shrunken stream. The reader should feel that they are in a story, not callously looking down on it from above.

- Break up text.
It's easier to read forms if the paragraphs are separated.

- Be organized.
Setting up your form in a creative and well-thought-out way makes a form almost a guaranteed win.
