Rules

1. All of Tess' rules apply. This includes art-theft. Violators of this rule shall be instantly banned from the forest and reported to the site administrators.
2. No begging. For anything. This is just common courtesy. Violators of this rule shall be given a strike.
3. Do not ask to be a mod/admin.You earn this right by following the rules, being helpful, actively participating in the forest events, etc. Violators of this rule will be given a strike.
4. Don't ask when the next litter is coming out/ when the next event is. If you haven't already been able to tell, I am a busy person and have a life outside of the forest. Questions like these are downright annoying and most of the time cannot be answered. Violators of this rules will be given a strike.
5. Proper grammar and spelling is required in all forms. If I can't read it, you won't be judged. I don't want to give our precious wolves away to people who don't show any effort. Violators of this rule will have their form terminated until corrected properly.
6. No trading/giving away our wolves. Our wolves are our creations, and they are not to be given away. If you find yourself in the case were you no longer want your wolf, please PM the administrators and we will return you wolf to the forest.

About the Wolves

All of the wolves in Zlenn Forest are unique in coat design, personality, and interests, but share a few overarching qualities that make them a bit different from your average wolf.

The Zlenn Wolf

The Zlenn wolf is the most common breed of wolf in the forest and are the basis of all hybrid or mutant breeds that are will be available to adopt. Because of the magic that the forest holds, the characteristics of these wolves are slightly enhanced, some more than others. They are highly intelligent and are able to understand the English language. They absolutely love stories and will listen to them for hours. These wolves prefer the fruits and nuts that are native to the Zlenn Forest, however they will also eat wild hare or small birds. There is very little variance in appearance between a male and female.

♦ Weight : 12 - 90 lbs
♦ Offspring : 3-4 pups per litter
♦ Intelligence : Way above average
♦ Speed : Above average
♦ Strength : Average
♦ Agility : Above average
♦ Common coat colors : Gray, black, white, tan, brown, tawny, blue merle, maroon. Occasionally will have an unnaturally-colored marking such as a bright blue, pink, or green.
♦ Health problems : Prone to hip failure as they get older
♦ Grooming requirements : Mostly self-groomed, however they may need a bath every now and then. Teeth are notoriously clean and healthy.

The owners are chosen at random, two days after the first form. You can only adopt one wolf every two weeks. PLEASE NOTE: We do not hold wolves for anyone, so do not ask.

The wolves in the Zlenn Forest are easily distracted, and often wander off and get lost. Will you help us find them? To do so, look around the thread and see if you can find them poking around somewhere. When you find them, they will be attached with a code. Use the form below to prove that you found them! When you find a wolf, you can choose to keep it or return it to us so someone else can adopt it.

Breeding Grounds

Welcome to the Breeding Grounds. There's love in the air tonight, will your wolf find a mate? In order to breed both wolves they will need to be fertile. Some wolves are already fertile when adopted, or you can buy a mushroom below that will cause them to become fertile for a week after use. You can breed your wolf with one of the other members that have posted their wolves here, with a random wild forest wolf, or among your own wolves. If you breed with a wild wolf, half of the offspring will be put up for adoption. You are allowed to adopt them, but keep in mind you can only adopt one wolf every two weeks and we do not put wolves on hold. The breeding process can take as long as a month. If you bred with another member, you will both get an equal amount of wolves. If there is an odd number, then the last wolf will be put back into the wild for another member to adopt. Once again, if you would like to adopt the wolf out of the adoption section, feel free.
