Introducing the Other Species of Sprig

The other species of Sprig are the Chy'merra, the Pai'ca, and the Tyt'olor. Other species may be added in the future.
Unlike the Rah'liani, these species will be up for adoption very rarely. They will not be available for customs or breeding.
There won't be any accessories available to dress these species up, either. These are just to add variety to the shop.
If you're really lucky, you might run into or see some of these species while out exploring the world of Sprig.

Common Name: Chy'merra

Pronunciation: kai - mare - uh

Scientific Name: Panthera Monstrum

Singular/Plural Form: Chy'merra

About the Chy'merra

Chy'merra live in small prides of up to ten or fifteen. The largest male is usually the king of the pride, while any younger males are usually young cubs. When a younger male gets too old, the king will usually chase them from the pride. These young males will often go out and form their own prides later on, if they survive long enough to do so. Only male Chy'merra have the large, fluffy manes on their heads. All Chy'merra have rattles on the ends of their tails, which make the same noise a rattlesnake's rattle does except much louder. The rattle is used to warn others of danger, to intimidate during fights between males, or when a male is trying to attract a female. Chy'merra are as large as tigers. Males can reach up to eleven feet from head to tail, while females can reach up to nine feet. Most Chy'merra prides live in the Frugi Desert, but there are some in the Herba Plains as well. They prey on Pai'ca and Tyt'olor.

Pronunciation: pie - kaw

Scientific Name: Cauda Caballus

Singular/Plural Form: Pai'ca

About the Pai'ca

Pai'ca live together in herds of up to twenty. There is a lead stallion who will guard and protect the herd, and he is usually the oldest stallion of the herd. Sometimes the lead stallion will have a few younger stallions help him guard and protect the herd. The lead stallion gets first pick of what mare(s) he wants to mate with during breeding season, and if any of the younger stallions try to mate with his mare(s) the lead stallion will fight them and chase them from the herd. Pai'ca are around the size of regular horses. The males can reach up to six feet tall, and the females can reach up to five feet tall at their withers. Pai'ca can be found almost everywhere on Sprig, except for in the mountains. They are easily tamed and can be ridden, just like horses. Pai'ca are herbivores, so they eat grass, etc.

Pronunciation: tie - toe - lore

Scientific Name: Tyto Cygnus

Singular/Plural Form: Tyt'olor

About the Tyt'olor

Small families of Tyt'olor will gather together around large bodies of water to live, but they don't necessarily live together in flocks. A pair of Tyt'olor will mate for life and have up to fifteen clutches in their lifetime. The clutches usually only have two eggs. Tyt'olor fly as silently as owls and have excellent day and night vision. Whether they are nocturnal or not isn't known because there are some who hunt in the day and some who hunt in the night. All Tyt'olor have gray legs and an orange beak, like swans. Their eyes are pitch black, similar to barn owl eyes. All male Tyt'olor have rainbow wing feathers, while the females have single colored wings. The males use their brightly colored wings to attract females. Tyt'olor can be found everywhere on Sprig. They mostly eat mice, rats, squirrels, etc.

More About Adopting

Rah'liani live in packs, so you will be required to name your pack when you adopt your first Rah'liani.
In the Archives, every person will have a post to themselves where I'll keep track of all their Rah'liani.
Packs also have ranks, which is why you have to provide a rank for the Rah'liani you adopt.
Don't know what the ranks are? Check the paragraph about Pack Ranks in the Species Information section!

I don't do Custom Rah'liani based on reference pictures. You give me a list of colors and markings that you'd like,
and I make a design based on what you tell me. Please keep in mind that there are specific colors/patterns for each type.

I will list after your name whether your order has been paid for or not. If it says Paid and has a check, you're good.
But if it says Not Paid and has an X, then either you haven't paid yet and need to or I had questions about your order.
If you're paying with Gemstones from the Bank and I don't have time to change the amount, I will put Not Paid.

How Breeding Works - Read, Please!

Step One: Purchase 2 Breeding Tickets, one for the male and one for the female.
Breeding Tickets are used to "register" the Rah'liani for breeding, NOT request the breeding.
Breeding Tickets don't expire, so you only have to buy a ticket once for each Rah'liani.
When you buy a ticket for a Rah'liani, I will note they have one in the Archives.

Step Two: Purchase a Breeding Token so that you can request a breeding.
Breeding Tokens are what allow you to request a breeding, NOT the Tickets!

Step Three: Decide what other items you want to use and purchase them.
If you do not purchase a Black or White Berry, you won't be allowed to keep any offspring!
Black Berries let you keep one offspring. White Berries let you keep all of the offspring.
Super Breeding Potions let you keep half the number of offspring that are produced.

Rah'liani that appear here were abandoned or given up by their owners for various reasons.
However, they're usually here because the previous owner still cared enough to find them a new home!
You cannot reserve Pound adoptions, and you may only adopt one Rah'liani from the Pound per day.

1) Don't be rude. Those who are repeatedly rude after being told to stop will not be allowed to adopt.

2) No spamming. Take your questions and/or chats to PM, please.
We also have a Xat chat.

3) Please don't mini-mod unless your username is on the Moderator list.

4) Don't beg for any reason.

5) Don't double post! Edit your last post if you need to!

6) Don't steal! You'll be reported if you steal!

7) Don't edit the designs or species when you get them!
Please credit me for the species, since I am the creator.
Please credit The Royal Mirage for the lineart.

8) DON'T EDIT YOUR ORDERS!
If you make a mistake on your order, then PM me about it! Don't go and edit your post!
Exceptions to this rule:
If you need to comment about the order, put your comment beneath the order.
If you need to add another order, put your new order beneath the first.

9) DON'T POST ORDERS WHEN I'M CLOSED!
Any posts that are ordering something when I'm closed will be ignored!

12) You can adopt a Rah'liani every other litter and own an unlimited number of Rah'liani.
This means if you adopt from one litter, you have to wait for the next litter to be adopted,
before you can adopt again. This is to make sure everyone gets a chance to adopt.

13) Please name your Rah'liani!
Exceptions to this rule:
When ordering a custom, you may name it after you see it.
When ordering a breeding, you may name the offspring after you see them.

14) If you need to name a Rah'liani or give it a rank
because it didn't get one prior to going into the Archives,
please PM the name/rank you are giving them.
This way we don't spam the thread with naming/ranking posts.

*NEW* 15) You can adopt one Rah'liani from the Pound per day.

CS pets can be exchanged for Gemstones, but I'm only looking for certain pets. Gemstones are the currency that allow you to buy adopts, customs, breedings, and items from the Marketplace. You can send trades at any time to save up Gemstones. Note: Please make sure to notify me in your trades that it is for Realm of the Rah'liani! Your Gemstones amount will be recorded in the Gemstones Bank below. If you think the amount listed for you in the Bank is wrong for some reason, DO NOT post that you think your amount is wrong. That is the sort of thing that should be discussed over PM, so please PM me about your concern.

I prefer Wishlist pets at the moment, but I will accept non-Wishlist pets as long as they are from 2008 to 2010. You are welcome to pay with hoard pets, but hoard pets are not that important to me, so their Gemstones amount is lower. A large majority of my hoard pets are uncommons or lower from 2011 and 2012, so paying mass amounts of them shouldn't be too hard because they're easy to find.

I will not accept spiders AT ALL, so please don't offer them.
Dogs and Wishlist pets are preferred, but are not necessary!
Pets that are not Wishlist MUST be from 2008 to 2010,
and must be uncommon or a higher rarity!

Welcome to the Marketplace! Here you can do all sorts of things! You can buy various items and breeding supplies, buy accessories to dress up your Rah'liani, request custom Rah'liani avatars and signatures, and use the Breeding Lab to crate hybrid Rah'liani! Everything in the Marketplace costs a certain amount of Gemstones. There are different forms for each part of the Marketplace, so make sure to use the right ones!

Welcome to The Supply Shop! This is where you can buy breeding items, custom tokens for a custom, and other various things. Most items are 1x use (meaning you use it once and it's gone). There are two different forms for buying items, so make sure to use the right one! Direct Use means you're using the item(s) right as you buy, while Save for Later means you're buying the item(s) but plan on using the item(s) later. Save for Later items show up in the Bank, so you'll always know what you've bought!

Direct Use
Direct Use means you're buying and using the item(s) right as you buy.
Usually, this form should be accompanied with whatever you're wanting to use the item for.
For example, buying a Breeding Ticket usually means you would be posting a breeding form, as well.

Welcome to Bells & Whistles, your one stop shop for any accessories you want to add to your Rah'liani! If you buy an accessory once, you'll be able to place it on all of your Rah'liani - even at the same time! However, if you want a different color of an accessory you've already bought, you will have to buy it again. All purchased accessories will be noted in your pack post in the Archives.

I'm thinking of adding collars, hats, necklaces, and more in the future! If you are interested in having certain accessories available here in Bells & Whistles, or you have suggestions for accessories I could add, please say so! I'd love to hear ideas from you!

Welcome to the Breeding Lab! It's an eerie place because it is completely silent.
This is a special section of the regular Laboratory. Here, pregnant female Rah'liani are injected with chemicals.
These chemicals make their offspring hybrids, meaning they have mismatched ears and tails from Rah'liani types!

Will you be daring enough to inject your Rah'liani with the chemicals?

How to Get Hybrid Rah'liani

First, you'll need to fill out a normal breeding form from the regular breeding area.
Along with that, you will need to post a form asking to use one of the Hybrid Juices.
The type of Hybrid Juice you use is up to you. Each one has two different outcomes!

More About Hybrid Rah'liani

Hybird Rah'liani can only be obtained through breeding with use of Hybrid Juice.
They will have ears of one type and the tail of another type of Rah'liani.
In the Archive, they will be listed as a Hybrid where it says "Type" in the pedigree.

What are Rah'liani?
Look at the Species Information section above! It will tell you all you need to know about Rah'liani.

What times do you release?
Whenever I get a chance and feel like making some litters.

Who are your Guest Artists?
Currently, I don't have any guest artists, and I'm not looking for any right now.
I will announce when I'm looking for guest artists. It might be a little while.

How much do you charge for your adoptables?
Regular adopts are free. Customs are 1000 Gemstones. Breedings are 1000 Gemstones,
not including special items needed such as Breeding Ticket or potions/berries.

What are Gemstones?
Gemstones are the currency used to buy adopts, customs, breedings, and stuff in the shops.
You can get Gemstones by exchanging CS pets. Make sure to adhere to the Payment section!
Playing the Explore Sprig game can result in winning Gemstones, but not always.
There may be other chances to win free Gemstones in games or events later on.

How many Rah'liani can we adopt in total?
You can adopt as many Rah'liani as you want! There's no maximum limit!

How often can we adopt?
You can adopt one Rah'liani every other litter. This gives everyone a chance to get some.
Customs and Breedings do NOT count toward this limitation.

Can we get custom Rah'liani?
Custom Rah'liani aren't "custom" in the usual sense of the word. I don't do Rah'liani based on reference images.
Instead, you give me a list of colors and markings and I put together a unique design based on that.
To get a custom Rah'liani, buy a Custom Token, which can be found in the Marketplace!
Before requesting a Custom, please make sure to check to see if Custom Slots are actually open.

Can we breed our Rah'liani?
Of course! To request a breeding, buy a Breeding Token, which can be found in the Marketplace!
You'll also need to make sure both Rah'liani have a Breeding Ticket before they can breed.
Breeding Tickets can be found in the Marketplace, along with other special breeding items!
Before requesting a Breeding, please make sure to check to see if Breeding Slots are actually open.

Once I breed two Rah'liani, are they mated for life or can I breed them with others?
Wild packs typically work where only the alpha pair mate and produce pups in the pack.
However, domestic packs and how they breed is left entirely up to the owner.
You decide which males and females mate and whether they are forever mates or just a one time pair.
As long as your Rah'liani have breeding tickets, they can mate however many times, and with whomever, you choose.

Can I breed my Rah'liani with someone else's Rah'liani?
Yes! You can breed your own Rah'liani together, or partner up with someone else!
If you want to partner up, please discuss it over PM and not in the thread.
Both partners must post the correct form in order for me to accept the breeding request.

I'm looking for a breeding partner! Am I allowed to advertise that I am?
Yes! If you're wanting to advertise that you're looking for breeding, you may do so.
However, please only advertise you're looking for a partner once per page of the thread.
If you begin doing it more than once per page, I will consider it spam and ask you to stop.

Why does my Rah'liani have all of that information listed with it?
That information is called the pedigree. That's there so you know everything about the Rah'liani!

Why does my Rah'liani have Fw, Wf, Ef, Aw, etc. listed with it?
That is the genetic coding of the Rah'liani. It helps me to determine what genes it has, for breeding purposes.
Fw would be a Fire type, Wf a Water type, Ef an Earth type, and Aw an Air type. It all depends on the genes!
