Kennel number: P126
Name: A light current of air; a gentle wind.Breeze
Breed: Husky
Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: I want her because her design really captures my attention. Her colors are beautiful and match perfectly, and they remind me of the beach, and the deep turquoise tropical sea. She just mesmerizes me.
Breeze will be featured on her own post on my characters thread and I will make and trade for art of her. I also have a story I've been working on that I feel is... Missing something, and I believe a character like Breeze is just what it needs to make it feel complete. So she will have a major role in that.
I'll also just keep her and love her, 'cause that's what she needs.
Personality:”Never let something like humiliation get in your way of having a good time.”Breeze is a fun lovin’ gal. She never holds grudges and she dislikes sadness. A lot. Whenever she sees someone sad, she goes and tries to cheer them up! Even if it means making herself look
really silly…
Witty, funny and easily amused, Breeze will laugh at almost anything. She teases her friends a lot too, and enjoys pranks and practical jokes. But she knows some of her jokes come of as hurtful or selfish, so she usually tries to tone it down a bit and just be talkative and nice.
She also really likes sports and most active things, so she usually comes off as a bit of a tomboy. But beware – she does have a girl-ish side.
Likes:Beaches: Breeze loves the beach. The sand under her paws, the wide expanses of plain land to run on, ad the sea breeze in her fur. And the sticks! The sticks are great! The one’s washed up from the ocean, without splinters or bark, just smooth, grey wood.
Swimming: Right along with her love of beaches and the ocean, Breeze likes swimming. Paddling through the cool water… It’s the perfect thing for hot, steamy days! The only downside is her fur. The water covers it and makes her feel heavy, so she doesn’t go very deep. Breeze mostly just stays in the shallow water.
Running: Being a Husky, Breeze really likes Running. She’ll run anywhere, and for as long as she can until she’s too tired to go on. She likes it especially when she’s chasing squirrels, or fetching sticks.
Dislikes:Ice: It’s slippery, it’s sharp, it’s sometimes hidden under snow and all around unlikeable.
Mushrooms: Soft, slightly smooshy and Breeze just doesn’t like them. Why eat something you don’t like when you can eat something you love?
History/Background:Do you hear me?
I'm talking to you.
Across the water, across the deep blue ocean
Under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm tryin’.Breeze grew up in Alaska with her two brothers. They had a nice family, and always had everything they needed, but once they were old enough they knew they were meant to be sled dogs.
Breeze wasn’t sure she liked that very much.
Sure, she liked running, but not over the cold Alaskan ground. She didn’t like her paws pounding over the snow, and the ice. It was so cold against her paw pads, and there were all the poky bits!
It wasn’t long ‘till her owners realized this. She would hear them talking at night. Talking about her. It made Breeze slightly nervous, but it didn’t last long.
Lucky I'm in love with my best friend,
Lucky to have been where I have been,
Lucky to be coming home again.
Ooohh~One day, a woman came to Breeze’s house. She was… Different. She didn’t seem to like the cold at all, and kept petting her as she talked to Breeze’s owners. But Breeze wasn’t really paying attention, until the new women addressed her.
”You’d like to come live with me in Hawaii, huh girl? It’s nice and warm there!”Breeze looked up at her, eyes bright. A
warm place? That’d be great! She’d miss her brothers and owners, of course, but she knew she would’ve had to move on anyways. And so she went to live with a new owner in the biggest island of Hawaii.
And so I'm sailing through the sea,
To an island where we'll meet.
You'll hear the music fill the air,
I'll put a flower, in your hair.Breeze and her new owner rode a large boat from Alaska to Hawaii. It was so big compared to other boats the young Husky had seen before, but she loved it. The spray of the sea in her face, the cool ocean breeze in her fur… It was all great.
And once she got to her new home, it was great too! It was warm, the ocean was there, and there were
beaches. Breeze knew she’d live happily there for a long time.
Though the breezes, through the trees,
Move so pretty, your all I see.
As the world keeps spinnin’ round,
You hold me right here right now.Song lyrics from Lucky.Art:WIP
Other:She’s left pawed, and her favorite food is hamburgers.
