8/2/11 - August is here, and that means a new litter and a new mystery egg! Hope you like the new egg >3< I had fun with it. In other news, the litters are going to be a bit more spaced out to one a week or so.

7/28/11 - Sky Litter has come and gone. New litter will be going up soon, I had a lot of fun making this one x3 Hoop earrings are now in the store!

What are Penzies?





Penzies like artists.
Simply put, they are drawn to anyone within ten feet of colored pencils, watercolors, a tablet, pens, pencils, paint, etc. They can be a bit crazy and hyperactive at times, but don't worry, they don't bite... most times. Penzies will bite if you ignore your muse or are too lazy to go do something artsy, but most of the time they are loyal. And even if they're mad at you I promise they will stick around. This loyalty leads to almost no turnover rate of Penzies when their owners abandon them... if you leave them at the Pound they shall simply sit there until they are adopted, and once adopted they will become hostile or closed-off. Don't abandon your Penzie >.>

As for physical appearance, it varies from subspecies to subspecies. But a few physical characteristics that all Penzies share, regardless of species, are: generally pointed ears, fox-like bodies, long tails tipped with either a paint splattering or a pencil mark of color, and wide eyes.

Life Cycles
The egg up there fooled you, didn't it? Not all Penzies are born from eggs. Some come to us pre-made (strange, isn't it? Like microwave burritos o.O ) instead. Each month there is a new Mystery Egg available in the store, this starts out as an egg and will remain one until the last day of that month. At this time it will cease to be available in the shop, and will grow on the first of the new month. Magical...

Most Penzies you are able to adopt come in pre-made Penzie burritos. Just kidding xD They will come pre-made, though, unless we're able to find a clutch of Penzie eggs, in which case those will be available for adoption. The good news: You don't have to do anything to keep your Penzie happy. If you want to display it, your signature is a great place to do so. Just check the Penzie Archives (link on first post) for the codes to your adopted Penzies. Important: Do not ever take someone else's Penzie code without permission.

Penzie Bubbles

Penzie Bubbles, or PB as they are referred to, are small round bubbles that smell like Peanut Butter but are valuable enough to be used as currency in the Store. They will drift around your profile in the Penzie Archives, making you quite hungry, until you decide to trade them away.

Uh-oh. Apparently they can be used to catch dogs, too o.O Don't use them for that. Please.

The Regular or 'Lop Eared' Penzie
The Regular Penzie is basically your run-of-the-mill mix
of both the Graphite and Bottlebrush Penzies. It is usually
very friendly at all times, and likes to sit on your computer
keyboard to keep warm.



The Graphite Penzie
The Graphite Penzie, though compatible with any artist,
prefers writers, traditional artists, or sketchers to many others.
The Graphite is rather friendly, but can be hostile if woken
up suddenly. Remember that he has eight sharp points when
deciding whether or not to play a prank.



The Bottlebrush Penzie
The Bottlebrush Penzie is very bouncy and cheerful at
all times. Though not hyperactive, the Bottlebrush
will certainly keep you entertained and prefers
to spend time with painters, digital artists, or those
who use other mediums such as clay and paper mache.
