For the time being, a small announcement:
We're looking to hire temporary archivists!

All of our image hosting has been through imgur since 2020. As a result, we have hundreds (if not a thousand+) of pets, items, event tokens, and fonts that cannot be viewed by anyone effected by uk online safety laws.

To make this UMA accessible to everyone, I'm planning to start swapping all those images to other sites, such as imgbb. But given the sheer volume of images, plus my responsibilities running the thread and working on new features, it's not something I can accomplish by myself.

About the position
Archivists would exclusively assist in the process of changing over image hosting. It is a temporary role which would conclude once all images have been changed over.
Archivists would go post by post in the litter archive, transferring images in batches and then sending them to me to swap out on-thread.
All new images provided would have to be on permanent links.
Archivists would receive all the benefits of full staff (listed here).
Because of the sheer size of this project, we are looking to hire up to five archivists. All archivists would be responsible for communicating between one another to ensure no one is accidentally working on the same batches.
There is no form! Please PM me if interested!

I will be working on swapping over thread content in the meantime -- such as fonts, and items in our shops. All litter releases from this point forward will also be hosted on imgbb or other sites accessible in the uk.

Our Discord is outdated and we are looking to make a new one that is better organized, with better bots + a better verification system! If you know your way around Discord and would like to be involved in the Pixel Forest community, please PM me! We are looking for someone to create and manage a new one for us. The role would be as a Moderator, however the responsibilities would only pertain to the Discord, not the thread or sub-threads.
