Thanks to everyone coming together and working so tirelessly, the Community Garden has been saved! The weeds and dead plants have been pulled and replaced with vibrant flowers, fresh herbs, and the starts to a variety of different vegetables. It's truly amazing what was accomplished in such a short amount of time. And with talks of demolition officially dropped, Fennel couldn't be happier.

Thank you all for participating in our first event since coming back from hiatus! It has been so much fun getting to host one after going so many months without. I really hope everyone enjoyed it! Below you can find our raffle winner as well as the totals for any tokens converted to Credits.

Announcements!

I was waiting for the event to conclude to announce a few things I've been working on / features coming to PS. In this post I'll do my best to summarize everything, but if anyone has any questions I'd happily clarify for them or go into further detail <3

- First up, badges!
In earlier versions of the thread, we offered a few badges and a trophy for reaching certain thread milestones -- things like having a certain quantity of pets, or being long term members of the community. I decided to reintroduce these badges with some updated artwork, and you can now claim them over on the Fan Club

Badges can be used to decorate your co-op archive posts, or anywhere else you store your pets. Each badge also awards a sum of Credits depending on its difficulty to obtain. To collect the credits, you just need to fill out the form needed to officially claim the award. Otherwise you may use the badges themselves without the need of the form

- Secondly, some changes have been made to the Park
I have been very inconsistent with opening the Park, let alone getting results out in a timely manner. I have no genuine excuse other than having limited free time to dedicate towards writing the short stories for it. So I've decided to make some changes to make the game easier to manage, but also hopefully more fun for everybody. They are as follows:

1. The Park will now open on the 1st of every month, regardless of if I post an announcement about it. As in, if you notice it's the 1st you can immediately start posting forms for the Park
2. Adventuring forms will now strictly have generic responses, unless a Stray is encountered, or the adventure is happening in the tier three area "After Dark". These may still be opted out of if you don't wish to have a story, only the results
3. The Snow Cone and Popsicle items now do not have a limit, and may be used several times in a single round. For those that are unaware, these items grant you additional trips to the Park instead of the default of 1 per round

These changes will allow for an easier time managing the game, while giving everyone a more consistent schedule and more chances to adventure. Reducing the amount of short stories I have to write will also give me more time to work on other thread features

- That brings us to the Vendor Fair!
The Vendor Fair is a new game coming to the thread. Or rather, games plural. On this thread you will be able to:

1. Hunt for exclusive items through a paid game
2. Collect a randomized free item weekly
3. Enter a weekly raffle for an animated pet
4. Complete quests for apparel items or other rewards
5. Staff will have the ability to host games if desired

You can read up more on these games on the attractions post. The thread is also open for posting/bookmarking if anyone wishes to keep up with the progress on it. However I have a lot of tokens to make still, so it may be a few weeks before the game officially starts. I will make another announcement whenever that may be!

- Lastly, the latest poll
A few of you have likely noticed the thread poll. When I brought PS back from hiatus, I ran a poll as to whether we should create a new thread. This was because I felt like the UMA needed a fresh start. We have, after all, been around since 2013! While that poll ultimately voted for no new thread, I still felt as if things could be updated. But after updating fonts, codes, and entire sub-threads, I've realized it was the name that wasn't quite resonating with me.

After much thought, I've decided to change the UMA's name to the Pixel Forest. This will reference the adoptable lore which was recently finished, and give the place that fresh start I was looking for. Though you'll probably still catch me calling the place PS from time to time c';
