Update!

First off: happy New Year's eve everyone! I didn't expect the hiatus to last nearly this long, but it has, and for that I am sorry. I never intended to abandon the adopt, and I've thought about PS a lot over the past several months. But things just got really crazy for me irl and it never seemed like a good time to reopen.

But that being said, stuff is finally falling into place for me. Over the next three weeks I'll be quitting my job, packing up, moving across the country, and starting over in an area that will be much safer for my fiancée and I. That's another thing -- I don't know if I ever announced it, but I got engaged! I'm not kidding when I say it's been a crazy couple of years for me

For the past five years, I've been working 40-50 hours a week without a break. As someone with autism, my workload sends me into burnout for months at a time, and it's often a struggle to snap myself out of it. This move and the opportunities it presents will allow me the chance to finally take a step back from work, and focus on my interests again. Primarily, that means I have the chance to start drafting my debut novel. But it also means I'll have time for PS and pixel art again.

I hope to take PS off hiatus late March or early April. This is a tentative timeline, of course. There are still a lot of uncertainties around this move, and ultimately how it goes and how quickly we can get settled will determine exactly when we reopen.

Additionally, to avoid stretching myself too thin or taking on too many projects, PS's litter release and Park schedule will be changing. I need to work out the details exactly, and I'll announce them once our reopening gets closer. We will also be accepting artist applications from now up until we reopen.

Lastly, and most importantly, I am also taking an interest check for the adoptable itself. It's been a year exactly since our last litter release, and a portion of our adopters have likely moved on from PS, or left CS entirely. I hope to get an idea of exactly how many people are interested in the reopening. Note that we will be reopening regardless, but the amount of interest we get will directly impact the amount of litter releases each month, as well as whether or not a reopening event will be planned.

Congratulations on your engagement and move!!! It sounds like the new year is going to be a wonderful new chapter in your life!

I still have all of my cuties and am happy to see PS will come out of its hibernation, whenever that may be ^^

As a neurotypical person myself, I understand to some extent how difficult it must have been for you to deal with all this, but YOU DID IT! This certainly deserves great recognition, and I wish you the best of luck on your new path in life ^-^

It's officially two weeks until we move into our new place. I'm allowing myself 2-3 weeks once we get there to get settled before I rush into finding a job. Expect some PS updates during that time, either here or on the Discord <3

The first updates will likely be coming to the market -- the new store thread I was working on before the hiatus started. I hope to finish designing the wearable items, and make a P2A litter to kick off that thread's eventual opening
