Disciplinary Policies 🚩1 - Preface- The majority of concerns can be addressed through a conversation and courteous reminder. There is no predetermined number of infractions that constitute an offense. Each individual situation is analyzed and assessed based on severity, intent, and overall impact.
- The list of strikes/bans and the reason for each strike/ban will be logged internally, and will be confidential. For trading purposes, you may request the ban list by creating a ticket in our Discord server or reaching out privately to the owner or an administrator.
Note: We do not tolerate name-dropping, vagueing, or harassment. Any of these scenarios will be treated as an infraction of our rules.
- Staff reserve the right to take appropriate action to their discretion, even in situations that may not be explicitly covered by the states rules, particularly in cases that are deliberately disruptive, negative, or harmful to other users.
2 - The ProcessNote: Infraction severity is determined by Talebuggos staff. Certain infractions, if the staff team deems them severe enough, may result in an immediate and unappealable ban without a warning.
3 - Minor Infractions- Examples: Minor rule-breaks, isolated misunderstandings, miniscule issues that do not affect other users, etc.
- Response: Internally documented to watch for repeat-offenses, and a courteous conversation and reminder of our rules through private messages to make you aware of the offense.
4 - Moderate Infractions- Examples: Repeat offenses, unsolicited trade requests, recurring negativity, etc.
- Response: Internally documented with a strike, and a formal warning and reminder of our rules through private messages.
5 - Major Infractions- Examples: Blatant disrespect, intentional negativity/hate speech, aggression, retaliation, harassment, scamming, etc.
- Response: Internally documented with an immediate ban and removal from Talebuggos, forced forfeiture of all buggos and related currencies/items, permanent trading/forum participation ban, and *possible* escalation to CS moderation.
6 - Evasion- Ban evasion, as well as aiding another user to evade their ban, is strictly prohibited.
- Deliberate ignorance or evasion of rules will be considered an infraction, and will invoke an appropriate response by staff.
7 - Appeals- If you believe a disciplinary decision was issued unfairly, you may respectfully request an appeal through private messages with the owner or an administrator. Appeals will be evaluated and asessed individually. Please note that certain infractions, especially severe infractions, may be ineligible for an appeal.
8 - More Information on Forced Forfeiture Due to a Ban- If a user is permanently banned from Talebuggos, all buggos and related currencies/items will be forfeited, and staff will immediately obtain the right to redistribute or void these assets at their discretion. The banned user is prohibited from engaging with Talebuggos at any level. This includes, but is not limited to: entering raffles/litter drops, event participation, and trading.
- Any attempts to trade, gift, or withhold Talebuggos or related currencies/items will be void and ignored. (This includes attempts at exchanging for other UMAS)
- Users who attempt to trade with a banned individual will have their trades reversed, and staff are not obligated to offer compensation.
Note: If someone attempts to trade a buggo but claims they are unable to post to the trading forum or edit their archive, this may be an indication of fraud/scamming. Please be thorough in each and every trade to prevent this from happening, as such transactions will be null and void.
