"slu-ggums"
sluggums are a semi-aquatic species with fin-like protrusions that grow along the head, body and tail. the species gets their name from their similarities with sea slugs, namely the "fins" which are used to guide them when there is little to no light in the sea, along with propel them through the water at great speeds; their bodies are squishy and they secrete a mucus that will cause short-term numbness wherever prolonged exposure occurs.

sluggums are friendly creatures who are often found near any body of water, as they can survive in both fresh and salt water without any issue. while they are semi-aquatic, water is necessary to rehydrate the skin to keep from causing any harm to the healthy mucus layer.
they come in a variety of colors with no limitations to their markings, the colors a sluggum is usually suggests the potency of their mucus; the brigther and more vibrant the sluggum, the longer and potentially more harmful the mucus. though nothing to be afraid of, the harm still doesn't go further than a strong numbing agent.

the final important note to the species is the gems embedded along their bodies; these gems contain the life force of the sluggum by helping them absorb the nutrients they need from the water and sun. sluggums will often be found basking near the surface of the water, absorbing the sunlight in order to keep their body going; while they absorb nutrients and vitamin d from the sun, they mainly get the nutrients they need to sustain themselves from their pescatarian diet. they eat any vegetation or fruit they can find, but won't stray away from eating other fish as prey. while this is true for the majority of the species, outliers are found in the deep sea and those who remain closer to the land. some may gain the energy need from living near hydrothermal vents and scavenging on whale-fall. of course, their bodies are able to digest any food, so don't fear giving them whatever you please.

Nistas are small anthromorphic creatures who love to dress-up! Users can recolor and apply items to their Nistas themselves, but you can also visit the Shopping District to have dress-ups to be done for you :D

In the future, we also hope to have MYO clothing, where you can create custom clothing for yourself, as well as fleshing out the rest of the Shopping District and adding more item packs :D

the stars.

up and running again! We have a brand new Grand Re-Opening litter

The catshee are fairy cats from the fey realm of Avalon, travelling to ours (and many others) throughout the times. While some of these cats live very normal, catlike lives, others live the lives of adventurers, travelling the world and learning its secrets!

Each catshee has two things: a Calling, which is the path they choose to take in their life, whether that be stealing or healing; and a Touchstone, a trinket of some sort that they are magically bonded to that is an extension of their self and personality, but is also something that grounds them, both to our world, and to Avalon.

Catshee: CoA is a UMA centered around character building and storytelling. We welcome casual collectors and people who just like cute cats, but we encourage you to build lore and stories around your catshee. Community activities such as adventuring, nesting, and certain events will have ARPG─art and writing─elements, with rewards such as character EXP and badges, as well as in-game items and customs!
