Airborne Orblings, commonly known just as Orblings, are a species that came to be when two Gargoyles accidentaly stepped into a magic portal leading to a world where everything is bright:
Whimsyville!
Said Gargoyles appeared to be the only inhabitants of this colorful world, and soon they started to have a family of their own. Over time, their children adapted to the fact that there was absolutely nothing to fear in Whimsyville, which made them what they are today. Their round bodies are still made out of rock with different patters, but their wings now have many different, bright colors and they grew antlers with baubles, of which they also have one on their tail.
Despite being ancestors of Gargoyles, they are kind of afraid of the dark nowadays – but that's not a problem for them, as they can make their baubles glow if needed. They are very nice and sociable creatures that could never do any harm to another being, and they use peppermint candy as their currency (they hate peppermint, but since there is an abundance of it in Whimsyville, they decided to not let it go to waste).
