Species Rules
Read these before participating in the species.
- There’s no trait list but in regards to standards and odd designs, you must keep some of the original lines in your custom. You may change 75% of the lines at the most, the Weaset has to be recognizable. Must have a neck mouth and four eyes. *Things like object heads are exempt from the four eyes rule, if you’re unsure if your custom would be considered valid then ask.
*The four eyes may be placed anywhere on the body.
- Staff applications will open when help is needed, don’t ask to be apart of the staff otherwise.
- You must have a co-op archive to participate in the species. Please edit it as frequently as possible. We keep track of Weasets, but items and currency are something you must make a note of.
- No guilt tripping the artists, if you didn’t receive a Weaset this time there’s always next time. Messages complaining about things along the line of missing a litter in the thread will result in a warning. Being rude about an artist's personal style will result in a ban from the species. We take bullying very seriously.
- Each Weaset must have an ID made for the masterlist, We will give you these ID’s when a weaset is made.
- Weasets obtained for free may be traded for other Weasets or UMAs, they may not be traded for USD unless you've comissioned art that cost USD, The max $C value for a free weaset is set to C$280 resale as of 12/26/24. However if you received your Weaset for USD you may trade the Weaset for USD or other Weasets, and so on.
- Free litter Weasets are FCFS, you may only adopt one per litter. You must have a number, forms saying something along the lines of “whatever is left” will be ignored. Forms filled out incorrectly or edited will be ignored.
- Weasets can be entirely free to play or you can buy Weasets using species currency/C$/USD. We have free litters, giveaways, events, and breedings. Artists can advertise customs or flatsales/auctions. A lot of these features are available exclusively in our discord server, I’d recommend joining if you’d like a greater chance of owning a Weaset.
- Empty or mostly inactive accounts cannot participate in the species. Your account must be at least 2 months old.
Only one account you own may participate in the species, if you’re found to be using alt accounts to gain an advantage you will be banned.
- You may transfer your Weaset out of the species with permission. When you win a Weaset they belong to you and they’re your oc. Despite this the official reference may not be edited in any way, but you can make a separate reference in your own art with wanted edits if you’d like. Additionally if you’re banned, Weasets you own will no longer be official and they will be voided from the species for having violated the rules.
- Do not add a weaset to your archive until the owner post is made to confirm you are indeed its owner.
Please remain respectful of staff and artists, a lot of this is done for fun and because we want to gift others, it is not obligatory and there may be times without frequent litters.
Strikes and bans are on a 3 part system, one rule break gives a warning, 2nd gives a 2 week ban, 3rd is strikes out, permaban.
Rules may be adjusted based on how things go, if needed we will make an announcement of any changes of course!
