You are strolling through a quiet, serene bamboo forest on the outskirts of a small town in Japan.
After some time, the towering shoots part, leading to a clearing. A small, quaint and lightly decorated classically-Japanese building rests at its centre. As you approach, the warm, wonderful scents of coffee, tea, and sushi waft into your nose. Once at the door, you pause, and read a small, wooden plaque with hand-painted text:
"Welcome to the Dumpling Café!
Feel free to take a seat, and be sure to order one of our many splendid coffees or teas!
Consult with Dai for adoptions!"
You decide to enter, and open the door. The café's kitchen is visible in the back, with several chefs masterfully preparing dishes of sushi and rice. To the left of them is a man with a dignified air, calmly stirring a cup of black coffee. The seating is pleasant, with mats and cushions laid down in several rows. A few customers are present, laughing and engaging in conversation.You cautiously walk towards an unoccupied mat, and settle yourself down. A moment later, a small and extremely fluffy orange cat with folded ears approaches. He bows, and then sits, curling his tail over his paws. That's when you notice that his tail resembles that of a shrimp's, and you catch a glimpse of a large steamed dumpling balanced on his back. The cat clears his throat, and says:
<Konnichiwa! Allow me to introduce myself!
My name is Daidaiiro (橙色), and I am the companion to this café's owner!
I presume that you are here for some food or drink, but allow me to introduce you to Ebipuffs!
I, for example, am an Ebipuff! (Note- Ebi 鰕 means shrimp/prawn!) We are catlike creatures that go back centuries, and have long aided humans in the arts of cuisine. We earned our names from our unique prawn-tails! We love to create and serve food, and this is one of the few places in the entire world where you can find your very own!>
As Dai said, this is the place to come if you wish to take home an Ebipuff!
Normally, a themed lure will be cast in the bamboo forest surrounding the café where you can comment to claim any of the Ebi's that appear.
However, if you're feeling fancy, you can even request a custom to fit your every single desire!
