destinies is an art and writing based rpg based on the book series "warriors" by erin hunter.
the goal of destinies is to create, worldbuild, and inspire with cute pixel characters.

to start participating in destinies, you have to get a founding cat!
a reminder that founders can only be redeemed once, but they are free! you unfortunately cannot request a specific artist or breed, but you are free to use photo references or text descriptions to describe the design you want.
please do not get upset with an artist if you don't like your founder design or it doesn't perfectly match a photo. an artist is free to take creative liberty to make the best founder possible!

after getting your founding cat, it's time to make a post on the co-op archives! while a basic post on the co-op archives is required to get any other cats, you are encouraged to make a personal thread to develop your group further.
this personal thread can be on CS itself or on another site such as deviantart, toyhouse, or your own website as long as the site does not contain content that is not allowed on CS (this means no personal information, inappropriate language, etc).
if you're posting on CS, try posting in character storage!

finally, the rest of destinies is about growing your group and developing your characters! we do this through development prompts that help you grow from level 0 to as many as you want! with each level earned, you're able to have more cats in your group. there are art and writing based prompts to include everyone! please head to the next post to learn more about leveling up.

here is where you can learn about how to level up! you start off at level 0.
there are some guidelines for completed prompts to make sure there is a level of quality and to keep the game balanced.

drawing prompts:
- must be at least flat colored
- have recognizable characters
- art of characters must be at least a flat-colored headshot

writing prompts:
- must be at least 200 words
- RP writing must have a minimum of 3 posts from each party, each at least 100 words

there might be other requirements listed in the prompt itself! please read carefully.

once you complete your level up tasks, post them here on the main thread and myself or a moderator will verify it.

- describe a group tradition/holiday (100+ words)
- write about or draw a scene where your cats fight (up to interpretation!)
- write about or draw a scene of your choice

level 5:

you can have 15 cats total

level 5 prompts:
- write about or draw a scene where your group encounters a stranger
- write about or draw a scene where your group deals with extreme weather
- write about or draw a scene of your choice

level 6+:

each level gained after level 5 means that you get 3 additional cat spaces
(ex. level 6 -> 18 cats, level 7 -> 21 cats, etc.)

level 6+ prompts:
- write about or draw 2 scenes of your choice
- draw or order art of 2 characters
- give another cat a history/personality (100+ words)

roaming cats are an opportunity to get a free cat that's not your founder or a paid custom/breeding. these cats have no group and are designed by artists to be accepted into your group!
these cats can be won in various different ways, ranging from FCFS (first come first serve) to raffles to answering development-based prompts! be sure to read the text carefully to know what to do.
