Welcome to the Sanctuary of the Kyokus.

Kyokus are fragile deer-like creatures born from songs.
Their designs, voice, behavior all derives from the type of the music they were born from.
Each Kyoku or also called Kyo for short, is unique in their own way.

Rie and Mango are the guides of the Sactuary

A.bout Kyokus [ Kyos ]

Born from the essence of a song, Kyokus represent their own song - their own story. These creatures are part of their music, and speaks for that song. They have several unique traits that allow them to be as enchanting as they are. Their horns on the top of their head and next to their ears allow them to communicate through telepathy - either to humans or their own kin. Every time they "speak", it seems as if a quiet background music is playing, which you would realize as the song that the Kyo was born from. Not only that, every time they take a step, a single note of the song softly rings out. So if one Kyo were to be trotting or running, you would be able to here the song's tune softly playing out.

Any mutations is possible for Kyos. The chances are endless.
There is no "rare" or "uber rare" kinds of Kyos, since the song that they birth from decides their features and colors.

At the Sanctuary, Kyos will be released in "Repertoires".
The Artist of the Songs would be stated, and a picture of the Kyo. To adopt, you have to simply post first, since it is first come first serve.

You are only allowed to post ONCE per round with your form. You may NOT edit, and if you do, you'll be disqualified.
**You may only adopt 1 per 2 days - so every other day.

--- Custom Kyos would be available from time to time, you just have to check when either Rie, Mango, or any other staff Kyos' post comes up in the thread. They'll state if the Sanctuary is able to create a custom Kyo for you.

You may put wip if you are not able to think of gender/name immediately.
Some Kyos can come with a name or a gender.
No complaining, flaming, blaming others if you don't get the Kyo.
All the Kyos are adopted out first come first serve~
You must put in a favorite line from the song to get your Kyo!

Breeding Kyos.
Read further on for more information.

Breeding is closed

Breeding cost is very flexible, pending on what Cs pets we are missing per month.


There will be 3 baby Kyos per litter, and each parents will get 1 baby fox from a litter.
If the Kyo you are breeding is both your's you will only get 1.
After choosing, the other 1 Kyo will be put up for adoption.
Kyo can breed infinitely, and inbreeding, same-sex breeding, repetitively breeding a Kyo will give the offsprings higher chances of mutations.
Each offspring will also have a song that it is greatly effected by.
You are also allowed to breed with any of the "breeding" Kyos, which are listed at the bottom of this post.

If none of the Kyos interest you in the archives for your breeding, there are more Kyos that are available for your Kyo to breed with: a Ryo or a Syo. The former being a male Kyo and the latter being a female Kyo. Keep in mind that not all Kyos are a Ryo or Syo. Ryo and Syo simply imply a Kyo that is open for breeding for anyone. However, Ryo and Syo is just a "title" for a Kyo that can breed, it does not mean that other Kyos cannot breed.

These Kyos are no different from any other Kyos, but a small description will be written under them to give a hint about what you can expect from their offsprings.
