A Flightling is a small cat, similar in size to a fennec fox (smaller than a house cat). What truly sets them apart from ordinary cats, however is their wings.
As their name suggests, Flightlings can fly, quite well, too. That and they each have special magic and a special talent that makes each and every one of them unique and special in their own way!
Wings & TribesThere are four tribes of Flightlings, each determine the types of wings the Flightlings within the group have. The tribes are;;

|| Uncommon

|| Rare

StatbarWhen you adopt a Flightling, you may notice an odd looking image belong the image.

This is called a statbar and it's purpose is to allow the Cloud Arena Games to be possible. When you adopt a Flightling, you may wish to display it without the statbar because you do not wish to participate in the Cloud Arena Games, however if you do wish to participate in the games you should first understand the statbar.
First of all, within the box there are three bars labelled as St., Sp., & Sm., Strength, Speed, Smarts. These are the skills.
Strength;; Strength dominant Flightlings are great in battles against speed dominant Flightlings.
Speed;; Speedy Flightlings may be weak against strength dominant ones, but they do well against smart ones.
Smarts;; A smart Flightling is weaker when up against fast ones, but they usually beat strong, slow ones.
Below the box there is another bar labelled as XP, experience. A beginner Flightling begins with no xp, but every game they participate in awards them with 1 xp point. Once they reach 10 xp, the experience bar resets back to 0 and the owner of the flightling can choose either strength speed or smarts and receive an extra point to that skill bar.
But what is the point of all this? Skills? Experience? A statbar?
Well, without the statbar, how could we judge the games?
The Cloud Arena Games
I know this all sounds complicated to far, but hopefully after I explain the games it will all make sense.
The Cloud Arena Games are battle between two Flightlings. Two people will apply their Flightling for a game, then the owner will place these two (pairs are randomized) on the games chart.
To apply for a game, it costs 5 Cloud Coins, the currency used here (link), but if your Flightling wins the battle you are rewarded 10 cloud coins. Whether you win or lose, you get 1 XP point, so even if you lose the battle you still benefit from participating in it.
The more battles you participate in, the more likely your chance of winning will be, especially if you get enough experience to gain an extra skill point!
So how do we judge the battles? Quite easily actually. We take the statbars of the two competing Flightlings and use the magic of maths to determine which would be stronger than the other.
Think of it like Paper, Scissors, Rock. Paper beats rock, rock beats scissors and scissors beats paper. Similarly, strength beats speed, speed beats smarts and smarts beats strength. It all depends on how the skill points are distributed on either of the Flightlings.
