History: he was once mistreated and abused by horrible owners. They then abandoned him at the age of one. Luckily, I came along to rescue him from the pound, where he went after being abandoned.

Personality:
Bitter~
She's pretty bitter to the world now , but she's still polite she's only bitter in head. Well most of the time. To her sister and parents still has very bitter feelings.
Shy~
She knows no one will like her or think she's beautiful. Especially since she's the reason she looks this way, and is attached to Krillos. So she avoids people and is very shy.

Sometimes solutions aren't so simple

Loner~
She avoids people, and knows all they will see is an abomination. She knows all they will hear is bleating unless they really listen and aren't just disgusted and annoyed.
Brave~
Despite being shy and a loner she is really brave and strong willed. If she feels like doing something she will do it with no hesitations and will rise up to meet just about any challenge thrown at her.

Living in fear~
Even if she is brave she's always scared of Krillos. She never shows it but her actions do. She always tries not to do what he says but always ends up having to out of her own fear of him. He basically tortures her thoughts and threatens her just to get her to do his bidding.
Sweet~
Compared to Krillos she is very sweet and very polite. Though no one else hears him only her and that witch. She always trys to be at least somewhat considerate, even though sometimes she can't help but be a bit sarcastic and bitter all on her own.

Personality:
Evil~
He is evil and conniving. He tries to convince her to do many things she feels she should never do. He's kind of like that voice in some people with different diseases have, always seeming to be a part of them they can't get rid of. Nor can they diminish the fact they have them. She is tortured by her thoughts, why because he haunts them. He can only speak in her head, and is other wise mute unless someone understands the language he speaks aloud. Only the witch knows his language because she created him.

History:
As a young girl Estelle was very adventurous, clumsy, and naive as most young ones are. She wanted to be graceful and balanced very badly. Her parents disliked her and ignored her paying more attention to her golden older sister, the one who did everything right and never messed up at all in her parents' heads. Her sisters name was Deliphy and her parents basically ignored her for their other child. She was so jealous of her sister and stayed angry at Deliphy and her parents almost all the time, she still doesn't like them to this day.

One day the jealous young Estelle was out adventuring in the woods knowing her parents wouldn't notice and came upon an old lady's house. Then elder looked as if she was having trouble carrying what she had in her hands so Essy went to go help her.

"Can I help you with these ma'am?" The purple haired young girl asked. "No deary, I have got these, but could you go grab my lamb from the pasture?" The old lady asked. She nodded and headed to the pasture. When she got there she saw the most graceful animal she'd ever seen. It was young, small and white, graceful and balanced. Just exactly what she wished to be. She sighed after admiring the lamb for a moment before grabbing the rope beside the gate and going in the pasture.

"Come with me graceful one, your owner wants you." She said to it before leading it out and to the old lady's front door. She knocked on it and waited till' the lady answered. "Ah thank you deary, come inside now, bring her on in too." So she took the lamb inside and handed it to the old woman who hurried back into some other room. Then she looked around some, noticing some rather odd things.

And the shadow of the day

Suddenly she had a flash back of when she was bringing the lamb to the door. It wasn't as happy as it was playing in the field, in fact it looked down right scared. She remembered it bleating and shaking as she brought it in. She brushed the thought off thinking it was just because the animal had never been in a house before. She shook her head coming back to the present, and just as her head cleared the old lady came back into the room.

"Follow me please young girl, I'd like to repay you for assisting me today." The old lady croaked before leading her into a dimly light room with a big pot in the middle of a table. Then the old lady went behind the pot and asked her to stand in front of it. She did as she was told.

"Now I can give you one wish, of anything you like, I'll explain it thoroughly before, okay?" The old woman said in a much silkier voice. She nodded eager and thoughtful. She had the best idea she could wish for her gracefulness and balance. Just like the lamb.

She almost bounced with excitement at her conclusion. "I want to be as graceful and balanced and innocent as a lamb. But more beautiful and- and amazing in all that I do!!" She exclaimed to the old lady. The old lady nodded thoughtfully before replying. "Are you sure? There are consequences to every wish I make work deary." The old lady croaked knowing the consequences of her own magic well. "You might want to listen to the-" Essy cut her off too lost in her excitement to care at the moment. "Sure, sure I know there's consequences. Just please make me graceful." The old lady sighed at her words but nodded.

"Alright your wish has been fulfilled, it will make you as graceful, balanced, and beautiful as all creatures I know of. It will start to show in around 3 days." The old lady said after a few minutes with a pitying look. Essy nodded with a smile and rushed back home with a wave bye to the lamb and a thank you to the old woman.

3 days later.....

Estelle was eating with her family, a little ticked off that the old lady's 'wish' wasn't working. "Estelle!! Eat your vegetables right this instant! Look your sister is, why can't you act like her for once?" Her mother scorned, she had had enough of her daughter's attitude; She was ungrateful playing with her food like that.

"Yes Essy, Please listen and eat your vegetables. it's ungrateful to play with hard earned food." Her father added on, a little more calmly. He understood his wife's frustration but had a way of hiding it thoroughly.

Estelle fumed quietly, knowing she would just get punished if she spoke. She looked at her plate, turnips, carrots, and tomato were left. She felt her face scrunch up in disgust, but she quickly relaxed her face. She didn't want to look worse than her perfect sister, no, she shouldn't dare do that she was worse enough on her own according to her parents. "Es it isn't that bad." Deliphy whispered to her. She ignored her sister and kept unhappily swallowing her vegetables.


Why would you like this character?:
I looked at her read over the kennel and automatically had a story for them,a personality, and everything so I was like wow, there hasn't been many characters like that lately and I really like them.
They'd be a great addition to my family.

What will you do for this character?:
Well I will fill out this form, make it amazing!(and hope for the best) and order art try to draw them, (I'm not the best drawer ;u; and well anything else I can do ^^

Why would you like this character?:

She is beautiful and i have a wonderful idea for her. She has a big nice cozy spot waiting for her at my character page. One day they will have their own story, the characters on my page that is. She has the looks and the personality that I have been looking for. I actually first noticed her one day on the colored in form so when I noticed her up for adoption here, I was like 'Wow that's just a little bit a luck headed my way'. For some reason even when I first saw her on the colored in forum I wanted to call her Pirate. I think it was her design but I'm not sure. Something about her just screamed Pirate to me. Maybe it's the way she looks appealing but complex and mysterious.. I don't know. The mind does work in mysterious ways.

What will you do for this character?:

Well instead of letting her have the normal format on my character page, If I win her, I'll let her have this more colorful one I have come up with. Although most of my horses aren't supposed to have too much personality and stuff, well yet that is. I might just put her in this role play I play very very often. Just about everyday I post on there, it's called Wild Horses of Utasia and I have about 9 characters on there, but it's a lot easier for me to keep up with than you think. She would fit in perfectly there and the story idea I have for her would work in great to that. If you read it you know she plans to run away, well Utasia isn't that bad and she 'might' end up there. I actually came up with her story as I was evaluating my characters in Utasia.

Personality:

Brave~
Pie is very brave, she will fight for the things she loves no matter what. Well unless something irreplaceable is at stake. Sometimes she goes over board with it but doesn't always mean to.
Arguementive~
She is really easy to argue with, it takes a lot to convince her wrong. If she thinks she's right and you have no proof don't even try, she'll still think she's right at the end.
Stubborn~
She has a very large stubborn streak. If she doesn't want to something and nothing irreplaceable is at stake then she won't budge no matter what.
Independent~
She is very independent and determined to be herself. She can live on her own very easily and doesn't like to owe anybody anything or depend on anyone.
Possessive~
If it's her's, it's her's. End of story. She is slightly possessive and very protective over things she owns or others she loves. It's just how she is.
Free Spirited~
She loves to just go out and have some fun, she is very free-spirited. There's no real other way to put it.
Defiant~
I guess this trait kinda comes with the rest but she is pretty defiant. If you tell her to do something with attitude, she's most likely not going to do it. She will fight and argue and kick N' scream if she has to.
Kind~
She has her own way of being kind, but has a huge soft spot for foals. Like it comes with being protective and possessive, if she knows the foal or sees a foal that's hurt in any way, boy are you in for it.
Strong~
She is very strong mentally and physically. She is always out there doing what she can to be strong for others. Even if you don't notice it doesn't mean she isn't in her own way.
Intelligent~
She is brilliant. Even from a young age she was showing signs of being really smart. She knew before she was even a month old who exactly Celia was and what happened to her mother. No one had had to tell her she over heard as she was pretending to be asleep. Pf course later she was busted when she started to ask questions but that was smart for a young foal.

Story:

"NO! You can't leave me, no no no. I love you, please don't leave me. Stay with me don't- don't close your eyes" Pirate wailed as Nico lay there bleeding out. Her mate her one true love was dying, on the beach that they had met on. "My brave brave Pie. I will always love you." Nico's last words were to her, of his love. He closed his eyes and took one last breath and Ry collapsed beside him crying and mumbling "You can't leave me.. Our foal. I'm pregnant." It was barely heard to anything but she knew what she was saying. She knew it was true too. But he was already gone, nothing but his last words still ringing in her ears remained. She got up and looked at the evil stallion who did this, her father. She pinned her ears down, her fighting instincts kicking in.

"Why!? Why did you have to destroy the one thing I truly loved!? Do you just hate me that much??" She demanded of him savagely. "I did it because you didn't need or deserve him, you can do so much better. The biggest herd's lead's colt has offered to take you as his mate, I accepted. So when I found how ungrateful you were being sneaking off with this... Mongrel, I killed him.Though your ungratefulness can now be forgiven if you go with the colt. Otherwise, that child of yours, will never be safe." He threatened her just as savagely but more haughtily and emotionless. "H-how do you know?" She asked totally shocked. She moved her stomach towards her mate's body, away from her father.

"You aren't as quiet as you think, daughter. Now what do you say?" Her father laughed and gave her a look, his eyes flashed in warning. "Fine, I'll go but I need to bury my m- friend." She said correcting herself as to not anger her father. He nodded and turned to leave. "You best be at my herd as the sun rises. The colt will arrive soon after." He said as he left.

She ran to Nico's body once her father was out of sight. Her heart wrenched and she sobbed uncontrollably. "W-what am I going to do, love? I don't have any idea what I'm supposed to do." She sobbed into his fur as she lay next to him for the last time. The sound of waves calmed her, it was his home, the ocean. Nico had always stayed near the ocean. He even smelled like it, she would always remember his smell and his touch and even his voice. A year ago she would have never guessed the most annoying stallion ever would be the one she loved most.

This was their last good-bye, usually when they said good-bye it would be only until the next full moon. Unless it was something important, like this time she had come to tell him she was in foal. But her father had interrupted, and she would never see him again. She laid her head on his back and watched the waves. Soon as the moon started to rise she felt the tears stop. Like she had cried all that she could and could cry no more. Her heart was still tearing and shattering. She knew after this she would never be the same. Although she knew that even if this hurt her more than words could say she would have to continue on for their foal. If it was a colt his name would be Nitrous Flame II and be called Nico. she didn't know what she would name her foal if it was a filly.

Even as her heart clenched and throbbed she still went on and still her internal flame burned, even if from time to time as her heart throbbed it flickered. She slept most of the night with her head over his back his dark fur and salty smell comforting her. When she awoke the tears came back, but never left her eyes until the last bit of dirt was over him. Then one tear slipped and fell on his grave.







She saw the sun start to rise and turned away before cantering off with one last look back. The tears started to pour about half way there and she cleared them up so her father wouldn't notice. She had washed his blood off of her and let her hair become wavy in the salty air before heading back. She had kept the seashell Nico had given her to wear in her mane and kept it there. Once she remembered she had it she flatline galloped back to his grave and placed in half way in the dirt before galloping back and slowing to a graceful canter as she came off the forest path.

She saw that her father was already talking to the colt who she was to go with. He was handsome but she couldn't have cared less. "Ah there she is. We were just talking about you dear. Are you ready to go?" Her father said with a different meaning for that. "Yes father. It's nice to meet you. I'm Pirate. Just call me Ry though. May I know your names?" she said politely, The couple, assumingly the colt's parents spoke up. "I am Fela and this is my mate Sparticus or Spar. Our son's name is-" Fela said but was interrupted. "Mom, I can introduce myself. I'm Ferran. It's a great pleasure to meet you Ry. And sir, if you don't mind we would like to stay for a couple days, well really just me my parents have things to do back at home." When he introduced himself he sounded rather confident and arrogant. She didn't like that and looked away, towards the ocean.

"Oh I don't mind you can stay with my herd, so can you Ry. Unless you would like to meet her mother, then you would have to travel with Pirate to her mother's herd." Her father said. It stung a little since he knew her real mother was dead, and was obviously rubbing it in her face. Celia, her surrogate mother, was with a different herd and had always been there for her, Celia had been a great friend to her mother. "i would like to go visit Mom, if you don't mind Ni-Ferran." She caught herself from saying Nico. Ferran seemed rather oblivious to her mistake. "Well son, we'll head back. Don't stay gone for too long okay?" Fela said before the left. "Bye Mom, Bye Dad," Ferran said. "And no Ry I don't mind, I'd love to meet your mom." He continued. "Well I was hoping you two would stay but hey, I don't mind. Don't forget to visit sometimes Pirate." Her father told them before moving away to his mares.

Ry led him towards the ocean quietly grieving. She almost automatically turned towards the tree where below they laid next to each other every full moon, but continued on remembering Nico was dead. "So why aren't your mom and dad together?" Ferran said trying to start a conversation which she quickly ended. "My mother's dead." She said bluntly. "Oh well i'm sorry to hear that..Well if so where are we going?" He asked thoughtfully. "We are headed to MY herd. as in I was supposed to be lead mare, before today that is. My surrogate mother Celia lives there." She said to the point. "O-kay" was all he said and she felt bad for being mean to him for a moment. As they neared Nico's grave she tensed up.

"Stay here for a minute please I.. I need to go see if something is missing." She said before running off not giving him a choice. She reached the seashell marked grave with a sad sad look. She gave an empty laugh. "I'm going to have to stop coming this way aren't I love?" She said to the grave laying down next to it. "I'm so sorry. I should have just waited to tell you, I knew he was gone only on full moons. I should have just waited to tell you..." She continued with a small sniffle blaming it all on herself.

She hadn't heard Ferran approach. "Who are you talking to? And why are you on the ground? "The two year old asked. She was the same age but felt so much older. She stood up and looked at him with a sigh. "Right now that's not of your concern. Once you do know then you will think everything fits into place." She answered before she backed away from his grave and started walking towards the herd.





Ry whinnied when she entered their secretive grove. "I'm back. I have brought terrible news." She called with a sad tone and expression. Ferran looked at her like he thought she meant him, but she ignored him and walked farther into the grove. Celia came running out from behind a big oak tree and soon after Maisy, her best friend, followed. Both nuzzled her happily before looking at her worriedly. "What is it darling?" Celia asked "And who is the yummi looking one over there??" Maisy added with a slight point of her head towards Ferran.

"N-Nico's.... Nico's dead. I never got to tell him good-bye, or a-about the foal." She said her voice cracking a couple times. Rowan, Nico's little sister came running towards her and skidded to a stop. She was 11 months old and was like a pre-teen, sassy and full of innocence. "Hey sis to be, where's Nico? Did you get to tell him the most amazing news ever??" She quizzed almost bouncing. It broke her heart to hear the filly so excited but she hid it well. Ferran over heard and approached.

"Who's Nico? What does she mean sister-to-be? And What news?? I need answers, your dad-" That's when Ry pinned her ears and snapped at him. "DON'T you dare say a d*mn thing about that monster!!!" She hissed at Ferran. He backed up shocked and hurt. He walked off with a hurt expression, soon he disappeared on the path they had taken to get here.

"Woah.... What was that about?" Rowan asked. "Don't worry about it Darling, go see what the others are doing for me please." Celia said to the filly. She just nodded shrugging it off, before cantering to behind the big oak tree. "Pirate, you best tell me what the heck that slim ball has done now before I strangle the answer outta somebody." Celia said in a motherly but also slightly deadly tone.

"Okay so you know how my father demanded that I go live with him a year ago, Right? Well apparently he'd been planning to ship me off completely. To the biggest herd around. That was the lead's colt, Ferran. I'm supposed to be his arranged mate. Apparently he's just fine with that. Anyways you all know that I was going to meet Nico to tell him about the foal, my father killed him and then forced me to go with Ferran when he used my foal against me. Ferran decided to stay here a couple days and so we came here. He has no idea how terrible my father is." She explained trying not to break. "Oh Pie that's terrible, you didn't even get to mourn properly did you dear? Scratch that I'm sure you didn't" Celia said wrapping her head around her daughter's back.

"...I'm going to KILL him." Maisy growled uncharastically deadly sounding. "No.. we can't do that. Yet. But when Ferran takes me back towards his herd, I'm going to run. I may never see you guys again, but I will be back every once in a while to visit his grave. I have something I need you guys to do our honor though, if you will. Kill my father once I'm gone and never let anyone hurt his grave, it's marked with that seashell he gave me last summer." She explained quickly, knowing any of the others could pop out at any moment.

"Oh count me in!" They both said at the same time. "Oh I'll miss you so much Pie." Maisy said giving her a fierce nuzzle which she returned. Celia started to cry. "Mum don't cry." Ry almost mumbled as she nuzzled Celia. Soon she couldn't bear it and started to sob too, nuzzling her surrogate mother like the world depended on it. But for her that was true, her world was falling apart and she could only hold on to those she loved. She knew in the back of her mind that soon she would have to leave them too.

After announcing what had happened to the whole herd and saying her good-byes, sobbing, and answering heart wrenching questions; she made her way back to Celia and Maisy. "I have to go find Ferran. I'll miss you and love you guys forever." She whispered brokenly to them. This had torn the hole in her heart even bigger. She had to tell all of her friends, family, and even Rowan how her father had killed their leader.

They both nodded and nuzzled her with watery eyes before moving off sadly. Suddenly a crying Rowan came bundling through towards her. Rowan slowed and pressed into her side, sobbing uncontrollably. "T-take m-me with... *sob* y-yoouu. You know my m-mom and d-dad died!! H-he was a-all I had... leeffft!! Now-your-the-closest-t-thing-to... *Sob* f-family I got!!" Rowan cried sounding scared and helpless. Ry's eyes watered and she curled her head around Rowan. "Hey.. Hey, look I know it hurts. I loved him with all my heart. I love you too, I can't stand to lose you all. But I need someone to remember and honor him forever for me while I'm gone okay? Someone's got to be strong and I know you can be my brave brave girl and keep his memory alive...You can do that for me right?" She said to Rowan looking down at her and as she was talking Rowan's sobs started to slow and you could see her little body re-filling with confidence.

"Y-yeah *hiccup* I can do that, for my most favorite person in the world. I'll miss you Pie." Rowan said starting to calm down, the filly looked up to Ry and smiled sadly. "I'll miss you too. I have to go now, remember to keep his wonderful memories alive for me." She said nuzzling the filly one last time before cantering slowly, reluctantly, away from her home forever.





She was sobbing by the time she found Ferran, who hadn't gotten far. He was only on the beach. He wouldn't even look at her as she approached silently crying. she felt so helpless and lost for the first time in her life. Sure she was only 2 but for her the past 2 days had been like 10 years. I'm Sorry. You do deserve answers. I will show you them." she said quietly as she stood next to him, both staring out at the sea. Both thinking different things about it. He was thinking how the ocean was much like Pirate. She was thinking of how Nico smelled like the ocean.

Well.. Then please show me your world." He said turning to her with a neutral face. She nodded and gazed out towards the sea again, memories starting to flash by her.

"Okay well it all started when my father demanded I come live with him for two years. He had friends, stallions that would fight for me and at the time my herd could not afford a fight so I agreed to go with him. I hated it there. All his mares treated me like some kind of special way to get more attention from my father. When really all he wanted them for was breeding. My father is cruel and the whole time I was not allowed to go see my family. But every full moon he leaves, and goes god knows were. The next morning he returns and the next full moon he goes again. So I snuck off to see my family and their lead stallion at the time was Nitrous Flame or Nico. He thought I was just another attention seeker looking to be the good 'hero' then and stopped me from seeing them. So I demanded I get to know him so I could prove that I wasn't some stupid attention seeker. To me it was a challenge and I tend to accept challenges unless something irreplaceable is at stake. So we met on the beach every full moon." She started showing him exactly where they met on the beach. So far he was a really good listener.

"As we got to know each other it was harder for me not to care for him. I had always been independent and hated leaning or depending or even wanting anyone. I even was independent to Celia, my surrogate mother. My real mother died giving birth to me. Anyways, we almost always butted heads but couldn't stand it when someone else insulted one or the other of us. And of course he allowed me to meet with my herd, but only as long as we kept meeting. I never actually got a reason for that.. Hmm silly nut case Nico... Soon we were in love, by summer time we were a couple. Not mates because I had still told him I depended on no one. I am told I have a really big stubborn streak. He would always just laugh and say 'Fine but that's one more hug I deserve.' Finally I realized how my life already revolved around him so much more. So I told him we could be mates, as long as he didn't screw up anything. That comment we argued on for about an hour, which was quite amusing to everyone. This full moon we were supposed to make it official and tell my father to bugger off. Anyways we met last night, that seems so long ago, and it was on emergency. My notice, I was going to tell him I'm pregnant. But I had no idea my father followed me. He was furious and tried to hurt me first but Nico defended me even when I said I could defend myself. My father killed him, on purpose. Then he watched me drop in grief and wail before forcing me to go with you. I obliged because he threatened the foal. It's all I can do to keep his memory alive." She said showing him the seashell marked grave.

"That's a.. lot. I have one question though. You never explained what the ocean has to do with this. You seem attached almost to it." He asked explaining his question thoroughly. She laughed breathily."The ocean,well I grew up just about on it. Nico always had a deep love for the ocean, as did I. That was one thing we shared. He always smelled like the salty water of the ocean. He would play in sometimes when it was warm. He taught his little sister how to swim in the ocean, it was cute. And that's coming from me, which is saying something. In other words, the ocean is an old friend." She said explaining both her and Nico's love of the ocean.

"I can respect that. You know, I was bound to tell you this sometime, but I have a secret mate of my own. My parents wanted a different mare one they chose to be my mate. They chose you, obviously. But I still love Kia either way, you know?" He said and she chuckled. "Yeah I know what you mean. But hey at least I wasn't the only one hiding something." She joked trying to hide her grief.

After a couple days they headed back towards his heard and she said good-bye to Nico's grave forever. She knew she said she would come to visit, but the likelyness of that happening were slim to none.

One night in the middle of the night she slowly opened her eyes and saw Ferran sleeping peacefully. "I'm sorry Ferran, your a good friend." She whispered before turning, half rearing silently and taking off. She was going somewhere far away. She didn't know where but she knew why and her determination soared with every step she took.

Her Future Foal:

Okay so I didn't have enough time to finish her story like I wanted to. I wanted to end her story with the birth of her and Nico's foal, but that didn't happen so I'll just post the picture I colored in on photoshop of her. Her name is Gypsy Soul (or Gypsy). She has aqua eyes, more mint green, and is a grulla overo crossbreed. She is really like D.W.xArab.xFriesian X MustangxArab. or something.
