What Is This Event?

This is an opportunity for you to adopt out any unwanted equid. This event was set up last year and was said to be the last opportunity to adopt out some of your herd, but with so many equids and a non-existent limit to ownership, we understand many owners will have spur of the moment equids that they really don't want or click with anymore. Here, owners can adopt out their equids, and potential new owners can compete to adopt them.

This is NOT a claim event. You'll be competing against others to win the equid.

The deadline for owners to submit their unwanted equid forms is: March 31st, 2014 @ 12:00 pm US Eastern Time
The deadline for applicants to submit their forms is: June 10th, 2014 @ 12:00 pm US Eastern Time

Understand: Those forms that are posted past the specific deadline will be ignored.

How This Works:

When you make the decision to re-adopt out your equid, you will fill out the form provided for you. Please, be sure of your decision before submitting. Once your form is posted, it will be added to the list and you CANNOT pull out your equid from the event. If you decide you want them back, you'll have to reapply. There are NO exceptions.

The adoption methods will vary from equid to equid, so make ABSOLUTELY sure you are using the form for the equid you want to adopt! Forms for each equid will be provided.

Rule Update Details:

This event is completely separate from the normal adoptions. Adopting an equid here does not count towards your 10 day limit. (For those of you who don't know, the 28 days changed to 10 recently)

Likewise, you may only apply for one equid in this re-adoption round.

FAQ:
[Straight from the Old Topic]

So will they all be for adoption at once or one at a time?
Yes they will all be adopted out on the same day.

Will we be able to try out for more then one?
No. You may only try for 1 so it is easier to judge and so that someone doesn't end up with a WME they don't really want.
ie: someone tries out for them all, but only wins the 1 they didn't like the most.

If you don't already own a WME, are you still allowed to apply for one?
Everyone is allowed to apply for a WME, so long as you have been registered on chickensmoothie for at least 3 months and have made at least 100 posts.

Are these first come first serve, or by best form wins?
Best form will win.

What about how many breeding slots these equids have?
WMEs have 10 breeding slots. Despite the ownership change, the number of available slots stays the same. Amount of slots is stated for each equid up for adoption.

Can we add extras to our form?
No. No extras are allowed- and you are not to use fontmeme, or any other text generator- and you may not center, or change the text color other than what is given to you. Any form that is changed or added to to will be ignored.

What about slots?
All slots are to remain as they are, so if someone has reserved it then they must keep the slot unless they tell you they no longer want it. If the equid does not have a slot list then assume no slots are reserved except the ones that have already produced foals.

Form Rules:
•Only use the form provided for you.
•Do not edit the original form in any way (centering, resizing, etc.)
•Do not add extras. They will not boost your chances of winning
•If an item is listed, give a picture of that item. (ie- Oak Tree: (Oak tree image))
•You can choose to change the equid's name or leave it as is.
•Do not pester slot holders about their slots, please.
•Only create one piece of art for an art entry
•You may only try for one equid
•No fussing or arguing
•Art must be original and by you.
