Wizard School; Ally's Diary ~ Posting Welcome!

Hello. My name is Alyssa, and I go to Gratin's School for Talented Young Witches and Wizards, or more commonly known as Wizard School. I'm 13, and in my second year here. This is actually a boarding school... We get to go home every summer and winter but other than that we aren't allowed to leave school campus unauthorized. Oh yeah, my Friends are Tristan, Aidan, and Cerin. We are all gryphons, but all species are welcome at Wizard School. Although I have noticed the most of us are dogs. Or some dog hybrid species thing.
But enough about that! My mom sent me this diary journal for me to keep track of the year and it's events. I'm not sure what exactly I am going to end up writing, but I hope this year will be exiting!

Cerin: Uuhh... Hi Ally's Diary?
Tristan: Ellow! Um Alyssa why do we have to say hello to the book?
Me: Because I said so! :3 Don't argue Tristan or I'll put a hex on you!
Cerin: Yeah Right Ally! We all know you couldn't hex a frog!
Me: Okay Maybe hexes aren't my strong point. But just say hi to the book or else!
Aidan: else what?
Me: I do Just say hi! Come on lets go we might be late to class!
Tristan: still don't understand why we have to say hi to your diary...

Yeah as you can see we have a great relationship. That was our conversation on the way to class this morning. Well, I have to go now. Talk to you later!

August 2nd, 2014, Morning

You will not believe what happened today.

But before I tell you, I'm going to explain more about Wizard School. It's this huge school on a cliff overhanging a beach. Here, we don't really have populars and outcasts. Instead we have things called Affinities. Basically, each different class of magic is an Affinity, and each student has a class that they are best at, or major in. They still learn all the other magics, but they focus on their Affinity.

The classes are;

• Hexes and Jinxes
• Potions
• Magical Creatures
• Dueling Magic
• Dark Magic
• Herboligy
• Divination
• Transfiguration
• Conjuration
• Illusions
• Charms

But anyways on your 1st year, you don't have an Affinity. But at the end of the school year you get to take a test to see what subject you are best in. Your opinion matters too, but not as much. Tistan(might add that he's my twin brother) is in the Dueling Magic class, Cerin in Potions, and Aidan in hexes and jinxes. My Affinity is Magical Creatures. Ive always loved animals, so im happy with what I got.

But anywho, what I was excited about was this... or rather her...

Yep. That's Serena. I knew her back from Elementary when we didn't know we were witches.
She missed the Ceremony where they announce your Affinity, so she was sorted this morning. She is a transfer student, but she was sorted already because technically this is her second year at a Magic School. She used to go to some place called Magic Academy. They use the Affinity System too, so it worked out.
Her Affinity is Dark Magic. It's the Affinity of most evil wizards. But im trying not to judge. I mean, just because you're good at raising the dead doesn't mean you have bad intentions... right?

Well I bumped into her...
Me: *accidentally bumps into dog*Oops sorry I didn't see you there! Weren't you just sorted into... Dark Magic?
???: Uum... Yes I was. *picks up books*
Me: Oh cool! *is totally not judging* Hey you look familiar...
???: I get that a lot.
Me: No I mean I remember your face fron somewhere... I never forget a face.
???: Really, I doubt you know me. Im from up north.
Me: *suddenly clicks* Is your name Serena?
Serena: Um yes. Maybe you do know me... *figures it out* Aah Alyssa?
Me: *nods enthusiasticly* We were friends in Elementary!
Serena: Wow you've changed!
Me: So have you! Ooh how are you?
Serena: Meh I've been better. *looks away* You?
Me: Im great! What have you been up to since 5th Grade?

Basically we told each other about our lives after that point. It was long and boring, so I didn't bother to write it down. But she started acting real secretive later on and left ina hurry for no apparent reason. It was weird.

Eeep Tristan needs my help in Transfiguration. Might as well go show him how to change ladybugs into lollipops. *sighs* Well bye!
