This story is written by me cause I need something to do^^please post all you want and if you have advise on making it better please pm me with the advice.This is about a girl going through the highs and lows of high school, love and well just general life.

[Meredith's Whiskers]

Jaylene or Jay Tresse lay down the blanket on the sand.She sat down and lay on her stomachs watching the waves.She checked her watch, 5:00, the sun was about to rise. She watched as the waves gently slapped the sandy shore.Jay closed her eyes and listened to the song birds start their morning chirp. She heard someone start up a sea doo and opened her eyes."What idiot would be riding a sea doo at this time?"She muttered, and everything was nice and peaceful.She rolled on her back and sighed.The noise got louder and louder until it sounded like it was right in front of her.Suddenly a cold sensation washed over her she was soaking.Jay jumped up and spun around to see a guy riding off. She squeezed out her hair."Oh all the...."She muttered and grabbed the blanket and trudged up the small sandy hill towards her house.

She pushed open the sliding door and slammed it shut not caring if she woke up her little sister or parents.She wrung out the blanket and threw it in the washer.Jay jumped into the shower and quickly washed up. Jay threw on some clothes and put on some shoes.She briskly walked to the stables and opened her horses stall door.She grabbed a brush and quickly ran it through the horses coat.Jay grabbed a saddle pad and her English saddle.Jay tightened the saddle onto the horse and mounted up after taking her horse outside.She galloped down the shore.Jay looked at the sea it so peaceful and then...That guy shot across the seascape and her horse spooked dumping her on her but. Jay grunted and sat up."Stupid guy..."Jay got up and watched her horse run away.She brushed off the sand and sighed.

"Jay!Jay!Jay!JAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!"Jay's little sister screamed.Little Annie ran down the hill to her sister with a stuffed teddy bear in in her hand.This little five year old was yelling and screaming at her sister as she ran down the sandy beach.

"What Annie?"Jay tried to look happy to see her.Jay knelt before Annie as her little sister tried to catch her breath.

"Mommy is mad."Annie finally spat out."You were loud early."Jay sighed, she was really in trouble.Jay stood and took the little girl in her arms.

"Okay, just stop screaming for once?"Jay asked and made her way up the sandy hill towards the seashore house.She pushed open the sliding door and set Annie down.Her mother stood in the kitchen leaning on the island drinking her coffee."Hi mom..."Jay took off her shoes and walked towards her mother.

"Jaylene you know your not suppose to be at the beach at 5:00 in the morning.Nor are you supposed to be making so much noise!You woke up your sister and she came to me and your father waking us up."Jay's mother put down her coffee.

"I'm sorry I ju-"

"I don't care you know you can't be doing this everyday!"Jay's mother walked towards her daughter."I'm sorry Jay, but your grounded for the rest of the week."

"Mom!But I have to-"Sh was cut off again.

"No buts!"She yelled and they heard Annie giggle."Go to your room."She pointed up the stairs and Jay spun around stormed up the stairs.She slammed the door and flopped on the bed.

"Worst day ever."Jay sat up and grabbed her phone.'Meet me at the cove?'She texted her best friend, May Daniels.'Yeah sure.' May replied.

Chapter 2

Nooo!!!Don't go!You can't!The fire, it consumed him. That scream it called after him but he couldn't go. Sweat trickled down his back. Damian shot up out of bed, just a dream. Damian threw some clothes on and ran down stairs. His mother wasn't up yet. He quietly walked outside and shoved his runners on.After stretching Damian started jogged down the beach to the dock. His mother had bought him a sea doo so he would be able to do something away from her and her work. He pushed it into the water and hopped on. The sea doo roared to life and he zoomed off. He went closer to the shore creating waves that slapped the shore further than the other ones. Damian slowed to a stop. "When will the nightmares stop?!"He said to himself he started up the sea doo again. It roared to life and he zoomed off. After a while he went back to the docks and jumped off. Damian tied it to a post and walked off. He sat down on the top of a grassy hill.He noticed a girl walking up to a sea side house."Weird, I think I've seen her before."He sighed and fell on his back he watched the clouds move for a bit before drifting off to sleep.

"Damian!"There was that scream again!The fire all around him and he pushed his way out fighting for a breath of air."Damian!"This time it sounded closer and someone was shaking him. Damian's eyes shot open. He was soaking with sweat."Damian you scared me half to death when I say you laying her sweating and screaming!"His mother sat him up.

"Mom, it was the dreams again."He sighed and stood. His mother took his hand.

"You okay?"

"Yeah I'm just going to swim."Damian said plainly.

"Okay see you after work."Damian's mother waved and walked to her car. Damian sighed and walked down to the beach. He watched the waves for a bit before taking off his shirt and jumping into water. He swam out as far as he dared and turned back.Damian sat on the sand with his feet in the water.Off in the distance he noticed the same girl he saw walking to the beach side house.
