Yep, we're going with this idea. Should we write from the perspective of both kids, just so we understand that the "bad" guys are good, or keep that a secret for a while?

*laughs* Okay, so let me get this straight:

There's a city where people are being held captive. They think they're being kept safe. The villains, who the citizens think are their rescuers, are keeping them locked in the city, right? And the good guys, who the citizens think are villains, are outside and breaking the citizens out a few at a time, right? And the MC(s) are a few kids who have just recently been kidnapped/rescued by the goodies, who they think are bad... Right?

I'm lost. Don't send a search-party.

Should the person who's trying to take the kids back and pretending to save them be traveling with the second kid? Sorry if that sentence was confusing! We really need to come up with names...

For now, let's say MC = A, MC's sibling = B, Guy taking them back = C, Guy helping them escape = D
So the MC is a female right? I'm gonna chuck some names out there.

Keahi (means 'the fire' in Hawaiian)
Azar (means 'fire' in Persian)
Ignis? (means 'fire' in Latin)
Fortem (means 'brave' in Latin)

before naming the characters, we should probably figure out their genders. I assume one of the MC's will be male and one will be female, but we should decide which. And decide what they look like, and get at least a vague idea of their personalities.

I think that Person A should be female and she is rescuing her little brother, aka Person B. I feel like Person C and D should both be male and had personal relationships in the past as in they used to be friends or something and grew up differently because of some kind of event or something.

I also feel like the names should not be too simple or too complicated.
