I never thought it would come to this, but I think now would be a good time to remind everyone to not copy my work, because you will be reported. I can't believe I had to do it already.

Dear Waffles,
EVERYONE HAS GONE BLIND!!!
Accept for a pawful of people and I. Why do I think so? There is only one answer:
the (BLUE AND BLACK!) dress. Everyone was fighting about it at school today, with some people saying it was white and gold, and other people saying it was blue and black. I have a dress similar to the famous ine, but its colors and design are a bit different.

After some research, I found out that it was blue and black, but the lighting made it look different. It was something about our eyes seeing different things... too complicated for me to remember.

So guess what? Even the teachers were into the debate, so we had a school-wide vote on what color the dress was. Everyone in the school had to vote. (They took it that seriously.) The ballot was online, and it looked a bit like this:

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I wasn't originally planning to do this, but since so many people commented, here you go. Also, I used the pet you entered's name instead of your username for your vote. Please no more opinions about "The Dress," because it's a little off-topic. ;)

My class was in the middle of an important test when the loudspeaker came on. The sound of pencils being dropped onto desks filled the air, and then silence took over. The person making the announcement cleared their throat, and the microphone used for making announcements screeched. We all sat on the edge of our chairs and listened.
"Students and staff of Canineopolis High, this is Principal Barkley. I am not proud to anounce the winner of the #TheDress poll. Drum roll, please..."
Everyone in school beat on their desks with their paws, and the people who were practicing drums for the spring marching band literally did a drum roll. The ground shook when everyone pounded on things. I swear that everyone in Wolfia (the state I live in) thought it was an earthquake.
"Our winner is..."
The drum roll ended as quickly as it started, and then it was so quiet that we could hear the birds ouside of our "soundproof" walls.

When Principal Barkley said "Blue and black," half of the school cheered, and the other half booed. Ms. Steamfur (Yes, I'm still stuck in cat language class with her) leapt onto her desk and did a victory dance. Then she jumped from desk to desk in the classroom (She's a cat) and hi-foured everyone. I have the craziest teacher in school. I was cheering at first, but everyone got so loud that I stopped to cover my ears.

I think I should go now, since lunch is almost over and I don't want to be late for class. Bye!
