@rosemarrie: I don't know. Since English is the world-language in a way it is taught very early in school. And I discovered reading in English in 7th grade, started to visit forums were you only talked/wrote in English. It kinda stuck xD
By now I sometimes even catch myself thinking in English. And since I am visiting the University you are always confronted with English texts. I guess it became normal to handle English, because everyone expects you to be able to speak it.
But I have to say - German is a really hard language to learn, so you can be really proud for everything you can. I even start to enjoy writing in English far more than in German. English is just a beautiful language.
For me - German is like a mountain, full of pikes and rough edges. But English is like the ocean, soft with waves but very deep at the same time.

I'm in love with Jamie's character
i just love guys who talk to themselves
and dogs
John Doe
for some reason I laughed really hard at that x3
AMAAAZING
i wonder if jamie finished the song
the dialogue when jamie was talking and the dog didn't react reminded me of the typical dialogue of an pixellated rpg game xD
love it <3333

Oh... My... Word. I just read the last one and it was absolutely fantastic!
I loved the fantasy feel and found myself asking questions and wanting more!
English may not be your first language, but man you sure know how to use it to create amazing stories!
That in itself is pretty darn impressive, let alone the ideas and creativity you brought into that story.
I reeeaaally love the whole ideas- just- just- fantastic.
There were just a couple tenses to fix, but definitely better than last time!
Also, with "Their dynasty would finally come to an end" I was a tad confused about the word choice, as I expected "dynasty" to be a word more like misery or something. A dynasty is the rule of one family over a country. I just wanted to ask if that's the word you meant c:
And "Being caught on a piece of papyrus wasn’t the proper life for old magic like this." That. Was. The coolest sentence. Idk I just had to bring that up. I loooove how you worded that- the idea that the magic is trapped on the scroll hehe it's so awesome.

*runs around like a hysterical rabbit*
*hopping up and down*
I am totally not grinning like an idiot at the moment. Nope. Not me. Just sitting here.
@ both of you: aaah - you can't tell how happy your responses make me. I feel like a champ reading this.
And I am really glad you liked it because I thiiiiink I'm going to make it a story on it's own - I guess the story definitely has the potential for it.
@ captain: I corrected the things - thank you very much for this. I guess a bit more practice and I will somehow master the tenses xD
and yes, with dynasty I meant the family-thing.
I am actually surprised you stumbled over this word xD For me it totally made sense to use it - but I guess the story is a bit more involved in my mind and seemed logical, haha xD
haha xD it is funny to see how sentences attract attention I didn't really thought about xD
