Plague of the Heart
Plagued Heart
Gender:
Female
Age:
Twenty-Five (25)
Species:
Plague Hound
Personality:
Basic Personality
Plagued Heart is different from other Hawks. She is more like a Crow in a Hawk's body. She isn't the friendliest, and is fairly untrusting. She can be a bit snappy, especially with other Plague Hounds and humans. She's definitely no house pet!
She's sneaky. She can get away with nearly anything ,and knows it. She doesn't often use this skill, though, as she is not sneaky by nature.
She is smart. Plagued Heart is smarter than your average Plague Hound, more than you can imagine. She doesn't deal well with less intelligent PH's, and that's mostly why she despises them so.
Plague of the Heart was an abnormal PH, in that she finished training much, much earlier than most othrs do. Whil most others don't finish well into their twenties, Plagued Heart as finished at fifteen (15).
Plagued Heart is a bit arogant. She feels that she knows more than others, and, though she does, she comes across a bit rude about it.
She doesn't mean to come across rude or arrogant, though. She's naturally sarcastic, adn, being smarter than others, it sounds a bit rude.
But on the inside of her hard exterior, she's kind and loving. She adores her Saviour more than anything, and loves her job.
Her job makes her a bit OCD, though. If she sees a Death's Door Mouse, she cannot help but go afer it until she kills it. She can barely stand the thought of letting one live.

History:
Prologue
Coming Soon!
Beginning
A mistake.
That's what she was.
They made her wrong, all wrong. She was supposed to be the first of a more advanced Plague Hound, but it didn't work. Not even close.
The scientists' made her, made her to be the first of a more advanced girl of her kind.
But it went wrong. She was supposed to be smaller. Sleeker. Faster. Smarter.
And that happened. But they didn't know the side effects. They didn't know what she would look like.
Until they saw her.
Middle
She started training, only the second day she was alive. They trained her to be strong. To be smart. To be better.
For fifteen years, she trained. She trained endlessly, it seemed, to be the best.
And she was. She was always the fastest racer. The most ruthless hunter. The smartest.
The other PH's despised her. She was different, and different isn't good. It never is.
She left, left to be alone. She had no choice.
And then she fell.
She fell for so long, so long.....
Until she went to a place of pure horror.
She had to cure the King, but she had a different plan. She wanted to kill him. She needed to rid the human's of the Plague, once and for all.
But when the time came, she couldn't. She just couldn't. And she failed them all.
End
She failed. She failed the humans, and helped the Mice. She returned to her home, where the Scientists took her back.
She felt hopeless, until her Saviour came.
And then light dawned on the horizon of her life.
Story-
Falling, falling.......she was falling. Strangely, it didn't give her the sensation she thought it would have. Instead of fearing her death, she closed her eyes, relaxed and peaceful.
She surely didn't want to die, but this peacefulness was wonderful. She had never felt so relaxed. The only problem was that she had a nagging feeling that this was't right, but that was only her nerves. She just needed to relax.
She finaly opened her eyes, looking down. All at once, she suddenly hit the hard floor, and she screamed in pain, though it was more an instinct than because of actual pain. She felt very little.
She stood up, shaking herself. That was strange.... she thought, looking around her. She was in a room, a room covered with what seemed like silly-string. She pressed against one of the walls, though, to find that it was hard and cold.
She glanced around herself again when she heard a scrtching sound. She growled, then crouched as she saw a Death's Door Mouse. She crept towards it, then launched herself, catching the animal with her razor-sharp teeth. She let go of it with a cry as she began to grow, and laid her ears back in fear and wonder as she hit the celing of the room. She snarled, then, and turned her head a ways to see another Mouse. She bit that one as well, then began to snarl and snap at her tail as she began to get smaller and smaller........
She saw a door, and ran to it. She pushed through the wooden door, surprised she hadn't seen it before.
Pleaged Heart looked around herself in wonder, gasping as a Death's Door Mouse walks towards her.
She snarled at the animal, crouching. Her body language was aggressive as the animal smiled. As she focused on it, she noticed that the creature was wearing clothes, like a human.
"Rat," she snarled, "begone, before I kill you!"
The mouse smiled. "Ah, Plague Hound, you should know better. I am not a rat. I am a mouse. A Death's Door Mouse." he swung his cane around, and adjusted his monocule. "And you cannot kill me. Your radioactivity doesn't work here. It is useless."
Plagued Heart's eyes opened wide as the mouse spoke again.
"Now, you are probably wondering why you are here, and what here is.
Well, here is called many things, depending on where you are from. Purgatory, Hell, Devil's Home, the Underworld. Ha, that stupid movie even called it Wonderland, though I'm not sure how they came up with that." He looked Plague straight in the eye. "Now, as to why you are here. You are here to bring the chain back. And before you ask, the Chain is what we call order. It seems that our, uh, ruler, has gone askew. You see, here, in what us inhabitants call Plagued, everyone is Plagued. The problem is when you aren't Plagued, though. See, everything is the opposite here. When you aren't Plagued, then you go crazy with sickness."
Plagued Heart looked at the mouse in wonder. "You're saying.....that I would be bad here?"
"Well, if it was like your home, then yes, if that makes sense. But truly, you spread the Plauge. And that's your job here.
The King has fallen victim to the Non-Plague. He has started to go mad, terribly mad. What you need to do is bite him. And spread the Plague.
The only issue shall be getting to him. He kills anything on sight, and quite brutally, too."
She scoffed. What was the point of this? They didn't really expect her to.....
"And you want me to do something about it, huh?" she asked, narrowing her eyes, yet chuckling.
"Yes, of course. You must help The King take the Plague back into his body. It's the only way."
Her eyes widened. You've got to be kidding me.... she thought. "I'm sorry, but I have to get out of here. I had a few Saviours that were interested in me, and I would really like to have a home soon. So, I wish you good luck with you King, but I really must be getting home."
She gave the DD's Mouse a nod, turned around, and began walking back the way she came. Stupid mouse. He thought that I could save them all.....But I cannot. And I must always hate these creatures, whether they talk or not.
Having made her final decision, she felt good. THis was what needed to happen. Maybe this had all been a dream, or maybe....just maybe.....She should kill the King.
She suddenyl stopped walking. What if this was where all the Death's Door Mice came from? What if, by killing the King, she wiped out every mouse there was?
Yes, yes, this could be where they're all coming from... She smiled to heself, then began walking back to the Mouse.
"You say I must save the King?" he nodded. "Well, then I shall save him, and save you all,"
She followed the mouse through the strange forest, a feeling she couldn't quite decifer in her heart.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is no such world where power does not corrupt
Where hate does not exist
Where death is not a part of life
Fire burns
Wind blows
Water drowns
Grass grows.......
Plague rules.
She suddenly woke. She stood up and shook herself, then looked up at the sky. The nightmare had come again. She didn't know what it meant. But she had a sinking feeling that it had something to do with her plan.
She felt bad, in a way, that she was to destroy every Death's Door Mouse there was. That would mean the end of Plague Hounds, wouldn't it? But the humans were more important. They had always been more important.
Always.
She knew her duty. So why did it feel so wrong?
She blew air out her nose, then shook herself again. This was stupid. She had a job, and she was going to make sure it got done.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She trudged behind the Mouse, grumbling. She didn't like this plan. Not one bit. What if they were trying to trick her?
What if they knew her plan?
"Remind me, again, why I must walk in chains?" she said.
"Well, we don't want our demented King to know what you're doing here, do we? You are the promised one, and he'll know it. But if you go to him in chains, then he'll think that you are no longer able to cure him, which, in his mind, is killing him.
So we'll sneak you into the castle looking like a prisoner. Then you'll be able to get him, and cure him."
She huffed, her shoulders drooping. This was stupid. Completely stupid.
"So why can't I just barge in there, bite the crap outta this "King", and go home?"
The mice gasped. She whipped around. "What?" she said, looking into the lead mouse's eyes. "What's wrong with that?"
"That," the mouse told her sternly, "would be the most disrespectful thing you could do. Especially with that vulgar language of yours."
She scoffed, raising her head. "You have to be kidding me. Your King is killing nearly everything and everyone he sees, all the while destroying your homes, and you care about being disrespectful?" she asked, both in awe of their stupidity, and in anger.
"Yes." he told her, a note of finality in his voice. "We will not disrespect our King. And that's that." he walked foward once again, his head hel high, his disgusting little nose in the air.
She shook her head in disbelief. This was ridiculous. It was going to be so much harder to kill him now. They had to know her true intentions. There was no other explanation.
"Now, if yo uare done with your disrespect, we must see Crysanthemum."
