Jazz spent most of her life in the sunny Nevada near vegas, working hard all her life to have a place in the big city. With lots of sun and not lot of water, there was always a struggle to keep a yard looking pretty much less keeping yourself hydrated. It wasn't too terrible though, she picked up a waiting job and served people in big name hotels with connections and interests.
She'd always been a good singer and would do so when moving between tables until some starry eyed male took interest. He spoke of easier jobs, better life styles and better folk doing a job easier than her own. Several weeks later with some planning and scratching up spare change, she moved to yet another big city. Seattle.
At first the chill in the air and dark clouds seemed depressing and cold towards her, but the first impression was promised to be only bad weather. The male took her into a coffee shop, the city was known for it's coffee she'd heard but this place was nice, calm even. The candles were warm and welcoming, the unlit stage stood across the room and her new life opened up. A singer of blues, jazz and soft rock alongside a few other artists trying to gain their name.
The cold months were worth it, she came to love the rain and clouds since they brought life to her plants and made the air smells so crisp. Jazzy had only moved here for a job, but it became so much more than that quickly. She can now grow a garden, sing her heart out and enjoy the calm atmosphere of a rain washed world.
