Starshines are a species that sparkle and shine!

Observed in deep space, the species has been found to be sentient and very friendly towards others. Astrobiologists are calling for all interested persons to come forward and take care of some for further research.

The species seems to possess a special type of flesh which sparkles and shines. This effect is apparent in their eyes, noses, mouths, and pawpads, as well as a mysterious 'charm' which they wear on assorted fabrics adorning their bodies.

prompt answers; It's made from a piece of the blanket the litter was born on, reinforced with glittery spider silk. It took only a week to add the spider silk, but almost four months to find and repair scraps from the blanket. Mist chose it because it reminds her of her siblings, who she has not seen in a long time. The spider silk makes it reflective, strong, and changes the hue to the water on her favourite planet. The star, of course, is a merit badge for being fashionable from her youth.

The main part of the cloak; the blanket, was given to the young Starshine at birth. Ever since she was born, Blu would carry that blanket with her wherever she went. A while ago, Blu's mother passed away from a fire. It was quite a hard time for her, but she knew that she had to stay strong. All that was left of her mother was the small blanket that she carried with her. It took about a two years for the Starshine to find some, but
she eventually found a small cluster of O-type stars; that only the bravest could reach. She wove the stars into the blanket, causing it to have a bit of air-borness. This took about 3 weeks.
When wearing her cloak, people can tell that Blu is head-first and courageous. The blanket helps her keep her mother's love in her heart, and to stand up for who she is!
