So national puppy day was 2 days ago, and I had meant to do some PPS babes to celebrate it. I decided that it's really never too late for puppies, so prepare for several pups to show up! All of these are based on purebred dog breeds that ranked in the top 20 or below list of most popular dog breeds in 2016!

It was something his mother told him before died, Never compromise Buddy, never let anyone destroy you're beliefs or morals. Never let anyone force you to forget who you are. You are a wonder boy and you will do well in life.
To Buddy, this motto is everything. He would never dream of compromising his belief in right and wrong, or his complete conviction that out there somewhere was a place that he belonged. He traveled, after his mother passed away, his brother Des was out there somewhere too. He had never met Des, but his mother told him stories of his much older brother, stories that often made him cringe, laugh, or wish he'd been able to meet the older male before he'd left to make his own way in the world.
Buddy had the travel bug, and spent his time learning the art of the bard. He was a wonderful musician and a very talented bard. He'd spent his entire life in training to become what he loved, but when his mother died, he decided it was more than time to make his own name for himself, like his brother before him, never compromise and never give up.

Misty thrives on this quote. She absolutely loves food, and hey, being a (hopefully) growing viscling and all, she needs to eat, right? Just sitting around... listening to classical music.. donut in hand.. isn't that the life? (Obviously, she has done this numerous times)

Coming from a pretty well-off household, since day one the viscling was always interested in what the maids were cooking. Since she is so little, they would be tripping over her more than once, as she almost always frequents the kitchen. One time at the dinner table, her father had said this quote and she just about died laughing. It stuck with her.

All jokes aside, Misty loves to cook. Even with those big viscling paws, she makes it work. One day, she bets she can become a master chef with her own five-star restaurant! Her friends tell her that her recipes are great, which is a great motivator. Misty herself thinks her recipes are great, which is an even better motivator.

The viscling uses this quote way too much. Someone telling her she's eating too much? Use the quote. It's her absolute favorite.(190 words)

Personal Meaning: Spencer knows how big of a mess he can be and how much of a mess he can make so he takes this quote quite literally. Possibly TOO literally. When he makes a mess, he tends to not clean it for quite a while. He's also quite the emotional little guy and he really tried to hide it when it was younger but now he just embraces the wreck he knows he is. Whether he's getting attached to quickly or falling apart at the seems he doesn't bottle it up, instead he finds a friend to enjoy time or lean on.

What it means to them;
Mercy seems to think that it means that she never stop dreaming or trying to make those dreams a reality. Seeing it as the driving force behind her inability to stay in one place and her reason behind continuing to search for the aspect in her life that she can't quite place but knows is missing. It may be hard to leave those she's grown to care about behind sometimes, but is also aware of how unhappy she'll be if she stays. Although difficult to do after getting to know someone, Mercy is almost always able to convince others that she is in no need of rescuing. That her lifestyle has been this way since the day she was born (ok maybe a year after it but... It's more dramatic to say day).

Those who argue otherwise and try to keep her at any given place end up in the dust most of the time, being that she's lived on the street for the majority of her life and has picked up a few tricks when it comes to avoiding the lime light, surviving on her own, and escaping those who believe they know what's best for her. Some might call her stubborn and criticize her for walking such a potentially dangerous road, but she's determined not to let others keep her from her dreams of travel, friendship, and adventure. what it means to them; He may not have found the most eloquent way to say it, but he thinks it speaks volumes anyway. He encourages others to seek out what makes them happy, no matter how plain or how simple. It means great things to him, because he doesn't find every moment enjoyable, but he's able to overcome it if he considers even one small good thing. Even if he tumbles and falls, that will only bring him closer to the ground, where he can enjoy the pleasant view of all of the flowers. Being a straight-forward and blunt person, he enjoys the motto for its simplicity, but he also draws a lot of strength from it. He's able to look to the future dawn rather than wallow in the current darkness of the night.

This is me. I live between hurting and healing. I am always hurting. I was diagnosed with severe depression last year. Severe anxeity this year. OCD a month ago. I am always him pain. Not just because of the scars I have. I have been to the hospital, because I wanted to take my own life. I still think that is an option. I am also always healing. My medicine helps a little. My therapy dogs help more. My mind helps less. Maybe some people are on the healing side more than others. Maybe some aren't. Maybe some are like me. The hospital is terrible. That is why I tell no one I still feel this way. I hate myself for feeling this way. I will heal. Everybody is in between though, we are never completely healed, but we are never completely hurt. We live in between.




PS: my therapy dog is a German shepherd!!! Omg!! His name is jack and he is mah best friend eveeeerr.

what it means to them; jumanji felt alone after being abandoned by his pack. he realized that he never quite fit in, and his happiness dropped. it took weeks for the pup to start to realize that hes okay, hes a good boy, and he can be better than those who abandoned him. he found his motto written on a chinese fortune, and the small paper has been stuck inbetween his collar and his neck ever since. jumanji now knows his priorities, and that only he can bring himself down.

what it means to them || to all appearances, chase is a sweet, lovable viscling who wants to be friends with everyone. while this isn't untrue, he is more than the naive little puppy he appears to be. he is much more canny and thoughtful than most give him credit for, and is consistently underestimated by those who don't know him (and even those who do). despite being constantly treated like an unruly child, chase loves befriending others and learning their stories. in return, he is loved by almost everyone who knows him.

it takes a lot to get on his bad side, as chase is generally very forgiving and upbeat. when chase reaches out to someone, he tends to extend a certain amount of trust to that person. though tentative at first, over time, these bonds can grow very deep. if one of these bonds is broken, however, it is almost impossible for him to regain the same sense of trust and confidence in that person. for chase, betrayal cuts deeply, and is borderline unforgivable. because of this, while chase has many friends, he has only a few that he trusts wholly.

chase found this line while reading through his copy of all's well that ends well and was immediately inspired. To chase, his motto is pretty straightforward. He likes it mostly for its simplicity, its message of kindness, and the way he feels it applies to him. He does his best to live by it and often quotes it to his friends. (247/300)
