Mickey had a strong mentality, whenever someone told him not to do something, he would be even more determined to try depending on what it is. It was almost impossible to influence him to change if someone wanted to. Although, despite being strong-minded, he was weak-minded too in a way. He's a total klutz, sometimes he can't hold a proper conversation without saying awkward things like a 'you too' to a 'happy birthday'. Which resulted him in being a recluse, he didn't want to bother going out and making conversations only to mess them up. He found it much more comforting to stay home to make something out of nature stuff or go to the woods nearby to search for his next project.
Miki is also family oriented, he loves his parents a lot and dreams of finding a great male viscet to adopt many visclings as they can together. As a first-born, he's looking forward to his siblings being born so he can take care of them whenever his parents can't. This is where he will be more strong-minded, he won't let his awkwardness stop him from raising his siblings or future adoptive visclings. Sometimes other viscets makes fun of him being a dreamer but he can't help it.. a big home with a field where he'd sit in the grass with his loved one(a certain antlered viscet...) and watch their five or more visclings play.. and they'd all have so many different memories together.. it sounded wonderful.
Not to mention he was also easygoing for those he was close to, he was willing to do anything for fun with them or could deal with them being annoying on purpose. If he was in middle of his crafts and a close buddy came to rest their head on his back, he wouldn't really mind it as long it felt comfortable. Even if he was being pulled out of the bed at three in the morning just for fireworks and ice cream, he'd most likely go along with it anyway.

Mickey loved both of his parents dearly, they were unique in their own way. Whenever he could, he would choose to go with his mother, Mocha on walks through the forest. Back when he was little he used to pick up sticks to try to help his mom and make her load less. But he would end up becoming distracted with other nature stuff, he'd get pinecones to gift to his dad, Finnegan instead. On days when he couldn't go with his mom, he usually stayed home and watched his dad carve some wood. He was always fascinated by it! It looked like a quick thought process, his dad was used to his craft, of course it'd be easy peasy for him! He had asked to try when he was a viscling but he ended up accidentally cutting himself and bleeding a little bit before he even got a chip of wood off.
Instead of starting big, Finny told him to make something out of leaves. It seemed boring to him, it was just leaves. Wood carving was much cooler! He went outside and picked up some leaves anyway and he set on making a bowl out of leaves. Few trial and errors later, he finally made a nice sturdy bowl! To this day it houses the pinecones he gave his dad and the bowl still haven't fell apart. Mocha had told him that he was too clumsy for a knife if he wanted to whittle or carve a wood after the incident. It was true, he was safer with anything that didn't include sharp tools. As he got older, however, he became a little bit more stable enough to handle a small knife.
Miki wasn't close to his mother as he was to his dad, he'd always try to find ways to spend time with her even if it's just walking around in the forest in silence. He knows she loved him but it was difficult for them to bond sometimes with their personalities. It was easier to bond with his dad, they'd sit together and talk about what they were doing with their crafts, maybe toss ideas back and forth. Although sometimes when they were in a great mood, Mickey liked to play rough with his mom, but sometimes they talked out their anger or issues that way but not too rough, of course. As mentioned, the parents had their own uniqueness to them in his eyes, and he loved them dearly. He aspired to be a good parent like them to his own crowd of visclings someday, he also hoped one of his visclings could bond with their grandma better than he could so she wouldn't feel lonely with all of them going to Finnegan.
One of the favorite things he liked to hear from his parents were the nickname they'd use to talk to him, he felt quite shy about it being used at first but he got used to it. The nickname came from one of his favorite features of himself. His mom started calling him; 'Blues', it was such a simple nickname but he and Finny grew fond of it, Mickey liked the reminder that he had sectoral heterochromia eyes and that his father had similar ones.
