airell is a born wanderer, full of curiosity and bravery fuelled by his impulsiveness. a determined kalon, he is nearly impossible to stop in his pursuit for knowledge of a new species of animal or object he is intrigued by. however brave he may be, airell is reserved and shy around new kalons and he takes a long time to warm up to them. as a friend, though, he is loyal and caring, often going out of his way to put a smile on his friends' faces and more than willing to rip off the faces of any potential threats towards them (not literally of course heh). he can be a stubborn lil' thing sometimes, but with enough calm reasoning and persuasion he can change his thinking. overall, airell is a generally pleasant kalon to be around, genuinely helpful and pure in intentions.
born to a lawyer and a surgeon, airell often spent most of his time at home alone, with only the company of the house's domestic helpers and the few exotic pets kept on the property's huge spacey grounds (think peacocks, a few sugar gliders and the like). his parents were rarely at home because of the hectic nature of their jobs, but they were protective of their only child all the same and he always had a nanny or two shadowing and fussing over him. opportunities to go out of the house were far and few between, and airell would often slip out of his nannies' watchful gaze to sate his endless curiosity and poke around the neatly-trimmed hedges and the rows and rows of bright flower beds, always hoping to discover something new. homeschooling was both a blessing and a curse, as it of course meant that he couldn't get out of the house, but his tutor, a patient and understanding kalon who took note of airell's ceaseless restlessness, often braved the wrath of airell's parents to ensure that he could at least bring the young kalon out for several field trips to the nearby woods. wip
