Story ;;
"Hey."
Cari looked up, startled. Uno was standing over him, grinning. He grinned with relief. "Hey!" he replied. "How are you? How's your father?"
"My dad is doing well," said Uno, collapsing onto the bench beside him. Her long and lean frame seemed slightly out of place next to the smaller and stockier Cari. "He's with Balto, having a good time. I got your message, of course." The message in question was to meet at the park where they were. The park was beautiful, and this bench sat in a clearing, trees and flowers in full bloom surrounding it.
"So," said Cari hesitantly, "I wanted to show you some of my newest photos." He picked one up from his lap. It was of a couple holding hands, strolling down at the beach at sunset. The golden light illuminated them from behind, showering the man's black hair with gold, and peppering the woman's blue-and-black hair with white. Another photo was of a small hummingbird in flight, the wings slightly blurred to show its movement.
Uno gasped and pointed to another photo. "I love that one." That picture showed a fair of fire-lizards spiraling up towards the sky during a mating flight. A gold was far ahead in the sky, with bronzes, browns, and blues trailing after her. Close to the water were a few stragglers and greens. But Cari thought he understood why it was Uno's favorite out of his most recent photos: fire-lizards were one of her favorite animals, but they were notoriously difficult to spot, and even harder to find their eggs. That made photographs of the wild fire-lizards almost priceless, as it was so difficult to get close to them. Of course, many photographs of Impressed fire-lizards existed, but there was something beautiful in watching the antics of the wild 'lizards, who had no obligations to anyone but themselves.
"Oh, hi, Uno, Cari," said a voice from behind them. Cari jumped, spilling a few of the photographs from his lap. From his brief glance, he saw that the Rainbow Paint Wolf was pink-and-white, with a funky tail that was waving lazily. He also thought that he saw another Wolf behind her. He scrambled to pick up the photographs from the ground and when he looked up, saw Uno staring at the Wolf behind the pink-and-white.
"Uno...meet Bueno."

swear it's more interesting than it
sounds.)
