Personality;; Reef is neither calm or hyper. He has his burst of energy that can last between and hour to five. Most of the time, he likes to rest out in the sun, or just lazily walk around his house. Reef is smart and snarky, but tries to kind and caring. He is extremely protective over what is his and his friends. He trusts other to easily and always forgives them. Reef is a pretty positive Vaiki, seeing no true darkness. He does acknowledge the darkness in the world, but he believes anybody can change to become better. He is extremely caring and if often dubbed as the "mom friend" of the group because he tends to have almost anything on him in his little backpack. This tends to fluster him, but he tries to be prepared. Reef suffers from anxiety, so he finds it hard to be in super large crowds, or presenting. He tends to stutter and trip over his words when nervous, or just go silent. Reef is a dreamer, who wants to turn his dreams into a reality. Many find them silly and hopeless but he believes he can make them true. Reef can be shy and bashful, mostly during his lazy moods. Reef has a great imagination, that tends to get the better of him. Due to this, he can be seen a bit as a trickster in his more energetic moods where he wants to cause mischief.

a little bit about her
kavala is a rather interesting vaiki. despite what other think of her, she spends most of her time surrounded
by her ever growing fish hobby! she absolutely adores fish and was born with this draw to the under water
creatures. she has many large fish tanks, filled with both common and very rare fish species that she takes
pride in caring for... she even has names for them all! when she's not at her home, tending to her beloved
pets, she is most likely outdoors on some kind of adventure. she looks for things to do anywhere she can an
d one of her favorite pastimes is - surprisingly enough - swimming. she enjoys being able to do what she wa
nts and spend time with the wild fish. she is astonished at not only the way they look but the way they beh
ave and move as well!

she is a sweet vaiki and one that cares immensely about the environment and nature, especially waterways.
she doesn't know what it is about them that makes her so aware of their importance, but she doesn't questi
on the fact that she will continue to love it and her hobby will continue to grow. kavala works hard and her
aquarium hobby definitely reflects the effort kavala puts into all of her work; everything worth having is so
mething to work for.

apparently there is no gif of these fish anywhere, so I had to go out and make this one. as soon
as I saw her I instantly thought of a cyphotilapia frontosa (frontosa cichlid). her name is based
on one of the main islands on Lake Tanganyika, the world's second largest lake and home to th
is beautiful species of cichlid. the coloration is identical, and the fish's body is dark with the li
ghter/white stripes, almost like how the fish designs look on the vaiki, and it even has the blu
e fin down it's back, like the fur on the vaiki of the same color!

Personality: Ponyo is a bubbly, outgoing vaiki who can't help but chatter incessantly when in company. She loves her job and doesn't mind the fact that she's usually alone as she has near constant communication with the other researchers on the seabed. When the little one has her boat docked, she can often be seen frequenting shops and restaurants to socialize with the residents. She constantly does her best to learn about the local area and culture, finding the experience to be exceptionally fun. Ponyo likes having near constant entertainment, which is one of her flaws. She fidgets a bit if she doesn't have anything to do and that bothers her a great deal. To combat her fidgety-ness she keeps a small 'touch' tank with hermit crabs and other hardy water creatures in it to interact with in her downtime.
Profession: Ponyo works as a marine biologist on a boat off the coast of the Mariana Islands. She corresponds with the researchers on the base at the bottom of challenger deep a good bit and receives samples of biomatter to test and identify alongside photos.
