Why do they have that bell on their collar?;; (500 words max) Well you see, this little snark has a habit of sneaking into the pantry to get food, so their owners put a bell on her so they could hear her wherever she goes <3

Why do they have that bell on their collar?;;
Isabella is incredibly clumsy, so a bell had to be put on her collar. If she ever falls, the bell rings loudly so someone can go make sure she's okay. Isabella often ends up hanging off of many objects, and very rarely makes it through a day without falling off of a piece of furniture, rolling into something, or otherwise narrowly evading the jaws of clumsiness. She's had many near death experiences, and due to the numerous head injuries from her many accidents has not only managed to give herself bad vision (her depth perception is shot), but has lost some of her intelligence in the process.
