Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

Energetic, reckless, loyal, over friendly, acting before thinking. Those are all words that discribe York, a young-ish DVF who is ready to go on an adventure. For him, life is always an adventure, one that everyone is on. He also embodies the saying "You Only Live Once" by doing things that many DVF would consider extremely risky, and honestly York doen't rerally think about what he is doing. He just does what he wants. Of course, that means his hind sight is extremely developed, and is constantly lamenting how he could have done things better. York will make as many friends as he can, and sometimes his friendly affetions are way over bearing. Sometimes the little guy just needs to take a chill pill and calm himself. He is overly energeti, and is ready to rush in at any moment to do things.
How does he feel about being PKS?
To be honest, York is really on the fence about being PKS. Even though PKS is a well known condition, there are still people who are suspicious that he is faking it to do things. York has to take around offiial documentation that shows that yes, he is in fact PKS and yes, he can do this. The fact that he has to tay a smaller adolescent is also a bit frustrating. He wants to get bigger so he is more impressive when it comes to adventuring, and there are things that he cannot do because of his small size. This really frustrates him. York is trying to make the best of it though. He's compiling a list of advantages being small has, both in his expirience and other DVF's experiences too. He has friends who understand his troubles, plus other friends who help find ways for him to do things he otherwise could not do.

Checkpoint One:

After weeks of preparation and anticipation, the time has come to begin your journey! You gather your needed supplies and head out at early in the morning. You notice other foxes staying behind saying their goodbyes to friends, buying items from a rather grumpy looking fox, while other sprint ahead of you to get to the first checkpoint as quickly as possible. You pay no mind to them, each have their own plans in mind for the trip.

The day is sunny and pleasant, and time seems to fly as you reach the first checkpoint. When you reach the checkpoint you notice the trail splits. Both seem to be rather mountainous with thick forest ahead and both trails have equal opportunities. The sun is setting fast and the smell of rain is in the air, bad weather is on the way for the next checkpoint. Make camp, and choose your path in the morning. It will take you all day and arrive at the next checkpoint sometime in the middle of the night.

York bounced up and down, examining both paths as he set up camp. It was a bit of a tough choice since they looked almost exactly the same, both mountainous forested trails. Really, where's the fun in that? And if there's rain on the way, it might be best to know where's you are going so as to not get super soaked when standing around deating. Mentally, he picked the right path as he dove under shelter, ready for the night to come and go so he could be off.

Checkpoint Two:

You have reached the second checkpoint in the middle of the night. As you arrived thunder could be heard in the distance and it slowly begins to rain. But your slow drizzle quick turns to a heavy downpour that seems to have no end. Thunder and lightning pound around the area and the temperature is turning cold. Illuminated only by a few lightning flashes you see a small path that splits from the main trail. You can explore it and see where it leads, but you have no idea what maybe at the end.

[] Turn away from the main trail and take the side path.
[] Ignore the side path and continue to the next checkpoint.

[] Keep warm with your cloak and protect yourself from most of the rain.

Sniffling and sneezing, York again considered his options. He couldollow the main path, or he could have an adventure. Adventures were more fun, but it was the middle of the night, and he was sneezing and sniffling thanks to the cold he got. He shrugged. Let's go ahead and adventure! To the side path!

Side Path: Dead End

The trees above you creek and moan with the wind as the rain pours on your now soaked head. Onward to the side path! The path is small and thick with trees, thankfully the branches above act as a sort of umbrella while you travel. Thunder and lightning can be heard off in the distance, and some so close it makes the earth shake beneath your feet.

Several hours pass and the rain begins to let up. As dawn approaches and makes it easier for you to see, you can now can see whats ahead - a dead end. Massive boulders and fallen trees block your way and it's impossible to climb or go around. Based on the smokey smell of the trees it appears that these tree were hit by some of the lightning during the night. One of them looks like it practically exploded from the strike. Thank goodness it didn't hit you!

Frowning and sniffling still more, York headed back up the main trail. "Well that was a waste," he mumbled to himself, picking his way down to the main trail. "At least I know where I am going!" He brightened up with this fact of good news, heading the way the trail said.
