They got it from their "younger" brother as a gift. A strange gift in fact. From then on he's wore it just because it was from his brother. They were two strange ones. Though his brother was younger than him and still the tallest. His brother has been gone for a long while but he still wears it to remember his brother.

Where did they get the bandanna?:akkune found the bandanna while he was strolling through the wilderness. the bandanna had been lain carefully in the midst of a small clearing. akkune at first only dismissed it as someone elses and left it alone, incase the owner came back to retrieve it, though secretly he wished they wouldnt. he kept coming back to the clearing every day after to see if somebody had come by to claim it, yet it lay where he had first seen it, and finally strolled up to it and snatched it up, figuring that by now if the previous owner had wanted it, than they'd have come get it by now, and pronounced it as his ever since
