What is a Blaiddud?
A Blaiddud, or Blai for short, is a bipedal, somewhat wolf-like telepathic creature that lives in caves under the Earth. The grow to be about 7 feet [2 meters] on average, but can be taller or shorter. They are able to withstand immense heat and pressure, much more so than any human, and are known to collect gems and other such objects. They rarely go anywhere near the surface, save to eat things that may be found closer to the surface, such as earthworms and moles.
Mannerisms?
They are usually gentle when faced with humans or other Blais, but will attack if provoked. They do not communicate verbally, but rather with telepathy. However, they can only communicate in such a manner with other Blais. They can in fact communicate verbally, but they usually only do as a sign of aggression - snarls, growls, etc.
Design Rules
- Sclera [Eye whites (or darks in this case)] are almost always dark. Light sclera are very rare, while colored is uncommon at best.
- Blais can have glowing eyes, but it is rather rare.
- The rib-like protrusions and claws are almost always the same color.
Rules
- You may own, at most, 10 Blais.
- Artists may make a custom for every 5 Blais they make.
- Guest artists may make 5 Blais, then will either be promoted or fired.
- No whining/guilt tripping if you don't win!
