Gypsy Vanners, commonly shortened to Gypsies, are a stocky draft breed of horse. They have short, clean coats, and long, thick manes and feathering. Their heights range from roughly 13hh, to about 17hh. Very shore, or very tall Gyspies are rare. The average weight of a Gypsy is 1400 pounds, almost 400 pounds heavier than the average horse breed. This breed originates from Great Britain. They are generally quite healthy, with no known breed-specific health issues. The most common four coat colours in the breed are bay, black, light grey, and buckskin, though all natural horse coat colourations can be found. Gypsies are a very multi-talented breed of draft. They are known to commonly participate in dressage, general riding, and work, such as pulling carts.

Birthstone is a loyal, quiet, yet passionate mare. She is faithful, although prefers to have only one person to form a real strong bond with. Once this mare has chosen you to be that person however, she will do whatever is asked without a question. Birthstone's biggest strength lies in her love of pulling carts, able to do so for hours on end without becoming bored and without any fuss.

Quirks
+ Birthstone has very ticklish sides and therefore can't be nudged on, that, as well as her slight nervousness to strangers is what makes her unsuitable for more social aspects of horse riding such as trail riding.
+ Birthstone is able to undo knots using her teeth, when tied up and left alone, even for a mere few seconds she will get to work on it. Once undone, instead of running off like others may she will follow after whoever she believes to be her human.
