While Kietta's are excellent racers, some are not as good as others or have been met with harsh
circumstances.These Kiettas, for one reason or the other have been retired from racing and need a
good home to take care of them and help them adjust to the world outside of racing.

Fall is downright his favorite season. Despite his anticipation for a light snow that won't drown him, the leaves are his favorite. Take him for a walk if you want, and he will dive at any leaves he can. They are to live for. I'm not so sure as to why he loves the leaves so much, but I have a few ideas.

He loves to bark at the crinkling noises they make. It's his obsession. And with each crinkle, he loves to try and attack the leaf that made the sound. It's almost as funny as watching a dog try to attack a sprinkler. Soon as he thinks he has found the leaf, he shakes it to shreds.

That entertains him, but when he is to tired, just bouncing around for the sheer joy of pouncing on leaves keeps him up. Sometimes he decides to slide on the wet leaves, or simply does it by accident. If he doesn't have a big enough pile for that, or as he thinks, Kage will just scrape some up himself, or carry them in his mouth. I don't worry about raking up the leaves anymore. Well, unless he tries to pull leaves on the trees for substitute.

Did I mention that as a puppy he tried to use pine needles instead? Ouch!
