Born into heavy-material work, Vanner learned at an early age that life on the blacksmith's keep wasn't for him. He was scheduled to pull things, to help out, to carry metal around. It was hard work that required strength, which he surely posessed. But that future wasn't the life he wanted to live.
Vanner became Angry Flame of the Desert when he was running away and fumbled into a Kietta racing ground. It was there he decided he wanted to train to be fast, train to be a champion. His dream is still in progress.
