Welcome to Runam
Runam is a rather small planet in a not-so-distant universe that is covered in a variety of landscapes, ranging from lush forests to grassy valleys, humid swamps to dry deserts, and cold mountains to snowy plains. With three large oceans that cover 65% of this globe, there is also plenty of water supplies which can also be found in stray rivers or lost lakes. Runam is inhabited by a feline creature called a
Zephina (Zeh-fee-nah) or Zephi (Zeh-fee) for short.
What is a Zephina?
Zephinas are large feline creatures that inhabit the various lands throughout Runam. Zephinas are omnivores; mostly eating fruits and greens, they can be seen eating small rodent like creatures such as the Wuzle when vegetation isn't readily available. A Zephina can live for 50 years (which is 150 Earth years). They mature quickly, but once they've matured they grow at a much slower rate making them live for a long time. A Zephi will be fully mature within the ages of 9 to 12 months. When a Zephina is fully mature, they are ready to mate. This creature mates for life. Mating takes place in the late winter seasons. About 3 months afterward in the mid springs season, a female Zephina will have a litter ranging from 1 to 3 Zephs or baby Zephinas.

Coloring
The coloring of this species is very unique. About 97% of all Zephina's found are common, which is an unnatural color with natural colored markings, antlers, feathers, and wisps. The other 3% are rare, which is a natural color with unnatural colored markings, antlers, feathers, and wisps. Each Zephina has a distinct marking on its back legs and flank that differs from any other Zephina. This marking is decided at birth, but is not genetic. These markings usually match the coloring of the wisps and feathers or antlers. This marking can be a simple swirl of color on the flank or be a sophisticated pattern reaching down to the toes.
Size
As mentioned before, this creature is a large feline creature. The males are very sleek due to their roles in the pride as the hunters, protectors, and providers. They have antlers similar to those of a white-tailed deer. These antlers help in attracting a female. They also have two wisps coming from the base of their tail. The females are fairly fluffy due to their roles in the pride as the caretakers and mothers. They have a set of feathers on each ankle. They also have six wisps coming from the base of their tail. These wisps help in attracting a male.
The males are larger than the females in height and in weight. A grown male can range from 36-40 inches tall and 90-112 pounds. Typically, a male is 38 inches and 108 pounds. A grown female can range from 34-38 inches tall and 80-102 pounds. Typically, a female is 36 inches and 98 pounds.
