In celebration of our glorious rebirth, I went ahead and made an elemental litter for you guys to apply for
This one happens to be earth, a simpler but stunning African wild dog design. It has matching bangs and chibi wings, however there's a fun catch for this one! You have to pick out it's accessories, or lack thereof, while capturing the normal parts of a form! You are welcome to draw or describe accessories as you like.
You are permitted two extras, limited to 750 words or one fanart apiece. Art for decoration of the form (not depicting the OC or it's accessories) is not counted as extra. Bonus points if you give reasons behind some or all of the accessories that develop the OC!
Have at it! Set to end Dec 1st
Congratulations to Eleya!

Name:
Ardhi
It is swahili and means earth
Gender:
female
Personality:
Ardhi is a shaman and therefore really connected to earth. She is calm and hardly ever gets upset. She wants to help everyone, and tries to convince everybody of the power and the energy you can gain from earth. For others, this might seem really weird, and they often call her crazy. Ardhi though doesn’t really care. It’s enough for her to see animals smile again, that she cured.
She loves to be alone, and feel the “power” that is in every stone, every tree, and every other natural thing around her. She asks stones and plants, to share their energy with her, when she tries to cure someone. She would never “use” the energy of another animal though.
She can be kind of stubborn. When she has an opinion, no one will be able to change her mind. Well except the ancestors. When they talk to her, she will listen to anything. What the ancestors say is always right, and always has to be followed. They talk to her in her dreams sometimes. Gladly they never told her any bad things until now.
Accessories:
A green and a yellow feather behind her left ear, a bracelet made of wooden beads with extra elements (gifts for her shaman work) on her right back leg, a necklace with a special kind of nut that rattles when you shake it (used for her shaman work) and the phalanx bone of a lion woven in her hair tuft. All seen here.
Extras (optional):
Story behind the accessories:
Ardhi always loved natural things. She collected every strange looking stone, every strangely shaped branch and all the other fascinating things lying around on the ground. When she was a young puppy, she found two feathers once, which she decided to wear.
When she grew older, she wanted to become a shaman one day. The current one of her region decided to teach her everything necessary, and gave her the nut as an instrument to use. Ever since, she wears it as a necklace to always have it with her.
When she finished learning and became a fully trained shaman, her teacher gave her one last present. A bunch of wooden beads, and a leather string that she could wear them. She decided to use them as a bracelet. When the other animals saw that she loved those natural things, they started to give her elements for her bracelet when she had helped them. A meerkat once gave her a black stone shaped like a snail shell, for healing his broken leg. A young lion prince gifted her a lion head made of bone, for curing his fever. And a small bird gave her a wooden tag with a black paw print imitation on it, for bringing home all her lost babies safely.
Now she always changes her bracelet when she gets new things. She adds new ones, removes old ones, but never gives one away. Every removed element is kept, to maybe be added one day again. She also makes up her bracelet as she sees the “power” in the special element. The lion head for example means strength to her. The snail shell stone safety.
The phalanx bone belonged to a very old lioness that Ardhi once knew. The lioness always told the young shaman to believe in herself, and to never give up. When Ardhi heard that her old friend died, she was very sad first. But her teacher told her, that the lioness would always stay with her. Especially when Ardhi would take a bone of her. So the young shaman decided to do so, and wove the phalanx bone into her hair. Maybe this is another reason for others, to think she is weird, or even totally crazy.
